Authorities of the Federal University, Dutse has released the academic calendar schedule for the continuation and completion of the second semester academic activities for the 2020/2021academic session.


FUD Academic Calendar Schedule 2020/2021 [Summary of Academic Activities]

The Senate of the Federal University Dutse, at its 55th emergency meeting held on Wednesday 19th October, 2022, approved Monday 31st October for resumption of academic activities for the continuation of 2020/2021 academic session, after the prolonged strike action embarked upon by Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other Unions in the University.

Below is the breakdown of the revised academic calendar
  • 1. 31st October, 2022 (1week): Returning of students
  • 2. 7th November- 2nd December, 2022 (4weeks): Continuation of second semester lectures
  • 3.5th - 31st December,2022 (4weeks): 2nd semester examinations
  • 4. 31st December-14th January,2023 (2weeks): Marking of examination scripts and preparation of academic Status
  • 5. 16th -17th January,2023 (2days): Departmental Board meeting
  • 6. 18th , 19th & 20th January,2023 (3days): Faculty Board Meeting
  • 7. 23rd -24th January, 2023 (2days): Senate Business Committee
  • 8. 31st January, 2022 (1day): Senate Meeting
  • 9. 6th February, 2023: Commencement of new Academic Session
