The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the launch of their Digital Certificate Platform also known as the NABTEB e-certificate platform for both candidates and organisation who wish to access, share or confirm their certificate or candidates certificates online without encountering any challenges or difficulties.


The NABTEB Digital Certificate System allows candidates to request, make payments, and easily access their NABTEB certificates anywhere around the globe. This platform eliminates the need for physical certificates, promotes efficient certificate management, and helps curb the use of fake certificates.

Important Notice for Candidates

  • For 2016 and Below (MAY/JUNE Examinations): Candidates are advised to go to their schools/centers.
  • For 2016 and Below (November/December Examinations): Candidates should visit the NABTEB State Office in the state where the exam was written.

How to Register on the NABTEB Digital Certificate Platform

  • Step 1: Visit the Official Website
  • Step 2: Click on “Register” On the homepage, click the “Register” button at the top right corner of the screen.
    • You will be directed to the registration page where you will be required to select your registration type: 
    • Register as a Candidate
    • Register as an Institution
  • Step 3: Fill in the Registration Form
    • For Candidates: 
    • Provide the following details:
      • Full Name (as it appears on your NABTEB result)
      • Date of Birth
      • Email Address
      • Phone Number
      • Examination Number
      • Year of Examination
      • Type of Examination (e.g., MAY/JUNE or NOVEMBER/DECEMBER)
      • Preferred Password
    • For Institutions: 
    • Provide:
      • Institution Name
      • Contact Person’s Name
      • Email Address
      • Phone Number
      • Address
      • Preferred Password
  • Step 4: Confirm and Submit
    • Verify all details and click on “Submit.
    • A confirmation email will be sent to your provided email address for account verification.
  • Step 5: Verify Email and Login
    • Click the link in your email to verify your account.
    • Return to the homepage and click “Login” to access your account.

How to Request for NABTEB Digital Certificate

  • Step 1: Login to Your Account
  • Step 2: Go to Certificate Request Section Once logged in, navigate to the “Certificate Request” section.
  • Click on “Request Certificate.
  • Step 3: Provide Required Details
    • Input your NABTEB Examination Number, Year of Examination, and other necessary details.
    • Confirm the details to proceed.


How to Make Payment for NABTEB Digital Certificate

  • Step 1: Redirected to Remita Payment Platform.
    • After confirming your certificate request details, you will be redirected to the Remita Payment Platform.
  • Step 2: Choose Payment Method
  • Select your preferred payment option:
    • Debit Card (ATM Card)
    • Bank Transfer
    • USSD Payment
    • Internet Banking
  • Step 3: Input Payment Details
  • For Debit Card Payment:
    • Enter your Card Number, Expiry Date, and CVV.
    • Click on “Pay” and follow the prompts to complete the payment.
  • For Bank Transfer or USSD Payment:
    • Follow the instructions provided on the Remita page.
  • Step 4: Confirm Payment
    • Once payment is successfully made, a confirmation message will be displayed.
    • You will receive a payment receipt via email.
  • Step 5: Return to Portal
    • Click on “Return to Portal” to proceed to the next step.

  • Step 1: Confirm Payment and Generate Certificate:
    • After successful payment, the system will confirm your payment.
    • You will be notified once the payment is confirmed.
  • Step 2: Generate Certificate
    • Navigate to the “Certificate” section on your dashboard.
    • Click on “Generate Certificate.”
  • Step 3: Download Certificate
    • Once generated, you will have the option to view and download the certificate.
    • Click on “Download Certificate” to save it to your device in PDF format.
  • Step 4: Print or Share Certificate
    • You can print the certificate directly or share the digital copy via email or other electronic means.
