This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has enabled the Course Eligibility Portal.

The JAMB Course Eligibility Checker will help both UTME and Direct Entry Students to determine their various chances of gaining admission into their institution of choice.

The JAMB Course Eligibility Checker works in a way that candidates will be required to provide or choose their Exam Mode, Institution, Programmes which they wish to study. Other information need are O' Level for UTME and A' Level Scores for Direct Entry Students, UTME Subjects Combinations.

Candidates can equally log on to the system state their requirements and the system will come up with list of institutions such candidates are qualified to be admitted. This will help candidates to easily know the right institutions they need to apply to or change to if need be.

Candidate should use this system to check either they are qualify for the course or not. Before you do any change of course, kindly check course eligibility before you proceed .

Candidates after providing all the above details will be required to click on the Check Course Eligibility Button and wait for the result.

  • Select School Type – Degree Awarding Institution, NCE, ND, NID
  • Choose a Category > preferred Institution > Select course of study.
  • Enter your A’Level/O’level Results 
  • Selects Your UTME/DE Subject Combination. 
  • Finally click on the “Check Button” to Check JAMB Eligibility.
