Prof. Shehu A. Musa Appointed Substantive Vice Chancellor, of Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has approved the appointment of Prof. Shehu Alhaji Musa as substantive Vice Chancellor, Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil.The appointment is for a single term of five years effective from Monday, 8th January, 2018.
Prof. Shehu’s appointment followed a recommendation to that effect from the university’s governing council, which followed due process “as provided in Schedule 1, Section 6 sub-section 2, of the University (Amendment) Law 2017, on the appointment of substantive Vice Chancellor of the University”.
The appointee, who hails for Gwagwarandan in Albasu local government area, holds a Ph.d in Agricultural Economics and has vast academic and administrative experience.
While congratulating the Vice Chancellor, Gov. Ganduje charged him to use his wealth of experience to move the institution to greater heights.
