Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) General Circular Notice to Parents and Returning Students on Resumption Date for Commenecement of Second (2nd) Semester Academic Activities, Resumption Deadline and Sanctions for Late Resumption for 2019/2020 Academic Session.
All the returning students that the resumption date for the second semester is Sunday 8th March, 2020. Lectures commence on Thursday, 9th March 2020 and will run until 29th of May 2020.Second Semester Examinations will take place from Monday 8th June to Friday 19th June 2020.
Graduation and Convocation Ceremonies to close the Session will be in September 2020.
Meanwhile, for Stream B Students who are still on campus receiving lectures their lecture will end on Friday 21st March 2020, while examination will take place from Monday 24th to Saturday 29th 2020. They will proceed holiday for 1 week and will be expected to resume 2nd semester along with other returning students on the 8th of March.
All students are hereby notified that there shall be NO breaks for Easter.
Easter Celebration shall be observed on campus, parents are strongly advised to be mindful of this and avoid fixing Family Celebration during this period.
The gate will be shut to returning students on Wednesday, 11th March 2020. Students who default will not be allowed entry into the campus regardless of any excuses. The University will not take responsibility for any student locked outside our gate after this period.
Management warns students that if they are caught improperly dressed anywhere on campus during the school and office hours, they will be summarily arraigned before the Dress Code committee and this may lead to their suspension from the University. We are serious about this, be warned!
The University’s Dress Code must be strictly observed by all students. The University has zero tolerance for dealing in hard drugs and other contraband materials. Any student caught with any such substance will face immediate expulsion from the University. Similarly, any student involved in any act of hooliganism will be summarily expelled from the University.
Attendance at lectures is COMPULSORY and any student who fails to attend at least 75% of lectures will not be eligible to write examinations.
