JAMB Plans to Impose Late Registration Fees as from 2019

The Joint Matriculation Board, JAMB Plans on Introducing Late Registration Fees/Charges for all UTME and Direct Entry Applicants as from 2019/2020 Session to Curb Late Registration Habit/Practices.

The Joint Matriculation Board, JAMB has disclosed that the Board will be introducing the use of late registration fees to all UTME and Direct Entry Students who fails to register for their examinations within the stipulated registration date.

This was made public via board official twitter handle while announcing the extension for the closing date of the 2018/2019 UTME and Direct Entry registration exercise.

According to the Board the "failure of these candidates to register is unfortunate and the Board hastens to add that this culture of impunity will not be tolerated henceforth.

Indeed penalty will be imposed for late registration from next session. UTME candidates are therefore strongly advised to take advantage of the extension to register as request for further extension would not be entertained".

This means that as from 2019/2020 session the examination body will be adding more charges to the usual registration fees to all UTME and Direct Entry late applicants.
