ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

(a) Basic Requirement:
Candidate must possess five (5) O’Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

(b)Specific Requirements:
(i) Candidate for (i) above must possess First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Anatomy or any other health-related disciplines or its professional equivalents like Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, Physiotherapy and Nursing from LAUTECH or any other University recognized by the Senate Candidates must have attained a satisfactory level of academic competence as judged by the University on the advice of the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and College of Health Sciences.

(ii) Candidate for (ii) above must have 55-59% Weighted Average in M.Tech in Anatomy of
LAUTECH or its equivalent from any other University recognized by the Senate.

The Candidate can proceed to convert to PhD Degree Programme upon scoring 60% Weighted Average and above in the M.Phil Programme.

Candidate for (iii) above must have a minimum score of at least 60% in the M.Tech Degree Programme in Anatomy of LAUTECH

(b) Specific Requirements:
(i) Candidate for (i) above must possess Good Honours Degree in BMLS, B.Sc, BPharm, MBBS or its equivalent in a life science related discipline or professional experience with Associate/Fellow of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN/FIMLSCN) OR

Candidate with Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in either Chemical Pathology or Medical Microbiology of LAUTECH or any approved recognized institutions with weighted average of 60% and above may also be considered for admission.

(ii) Candidate for (ii) above must score 50-54.9% weighted average in the M.Sc programme in Biomedical Sciences of LAUTECH or its equivalent from any other University recognized by the Senate of LAUTECH

Candidate with 55-59.9% weighted average in the M.Sc programme in Biomedical Sciences of LAUTECH or its equivalent from any other University recognized by the Senate of LAUTECH can enter for MPhil programme of LAUTECH.

The candidate can proceed/convert to PhD programme upon scoring 60% weighted average and above in the MPhil programme.

(iii) Candidate for (iii) above must possess a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences
from LAUTECH with a weighted average score at-least 60%

(a) Basic Requirement:
Candidate must possess five (5) O’Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology,

(b) Specific Requirements:
(i) Candidate for (i) above must possess a First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Pharmacology, Pharmacy or any other health-related discipline of LAUTECH or its professional equivalent in Medicine or Veterinary Medicine from LAUTECH or any other University recognized by the Senate of LAUTECH

Candidate must attained a satisfactory level of academic competence as judged by the University Senate on the advice of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences, and College of Health Sciences

(ii) Candidate for (iii) above must possess a Master Degree in Pharmacology from LAUTECH with a weighted average score of at least 60% or its equivalent from the Master Programme of any other University recognized by the Senate of LAUTECH

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

(a) Basic Requirement:
Candidate must possess five (5) O’Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

(b)Specific Requirements:
(i) Candidate for (i) above must have studied sciences, Food Science and Technology, those deficient in other allied disciplines like Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacology, Nursing, Biochemistry, Anatomy and other related disciplines acceptable
by LAUTECH Senate OR

Candidates with 3rd Class Degree in B.Tech and B Sc. Physiology (ii) Candidate for (ii) above must be Graduates of Physiology with at least Second Class Lower degree, Graduates of Medicine and Dentistry from LAUTECH or other Universities approved by the Senate OR

Graduates of Physiology and other basic medical sciences who have completed a PGD programme in Physiology with a score above 60% will also be considered.

Prospective candidates shall write entrance examination; the results would constitute a percentage of their overall assessment in consideration for admission.

(iii) Candidate for (iii) above must have a minimum score of 50% in the Master Degree programme in Physiology LAUTECH Ogbomoso and Candidate who possesses a Master degree in Physiology from other Universities recognized by Senate and whose performance at this level is adjudged to be equivalent to the M.Tech degree of LAUTECH

(iv) Candidate for (iv) above must have a minimum score of 60% in the Master Degree programme in Physiology of LAUTECH OR

Candidates who possess an M.Phil degree in Physiology from LAUTECH Ogbomoso who have satisfied the course requirements for the degree and have been permitted by the Senate to upgrade their registration

In addition to departmental and UME requirements, Candidates must also possess the qualifications specified here under:

(i) Postgraduate Diploma Programme
For Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes, Candidates must possess Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree with at least 3rd class in relevant discipline or Higher National Diploma Certificate (HND) in relevant discipline with at least lower credit pass.

(ii) M.Tech/M.Sc Programme
Candidates must possess Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree with at least Second Class Honours in relevant discipline

(iii) For admission to the M.Phil and PhD programmes,Candidates must have a minimum score of 50% and 60% respectively in the Master Degree.

Applicants for PhD may be required to commence with M.Phil/PhD where appropriate.
