Imo State University [IMSU] 28th Matriculation Ceremony Date, Time and Venue, Academic Gown Collection Notice to all Freshers/Newly Admitted Students for 2019/2020 Academic Session [POSTPONED / RE-SCHEDULED].
The General Public are hereby cordially invited to the 28th Matriculation Ceremony of the Imo State University for the 2019/2020 academic session.In a closed-door meeting held today by the university Senate and upon confirmation by the university Public Relations Officer Sir. Ralph Njoku, it was decided that the matriculation which was supposed to hold on Friday, 31st January, 2020 has been shifted by a week. The reason for the shift is towards ensuring a hitch-free matriculation ceremony that will be the cynosure of all eyes among community of universities.
To this end, the event days to mark the forthcoming matriculation of 2019/2020 freshmen will go as thus:
Date: Wednesday 5th February, 2020.
Time: 10am Prompt
Venue: School Premises.

As is students ritual, the RAG DAY will consequently be on Tuesday 4th February, 2020.
Important Notice to all IMSU Fresh Matriculating Students for 2019/2020 Academic Session.
All fresh students are enjoined to note the following:i. Fresh students should endeavor to complete their registration before the Matriculation Day.
ii. All matriculating students are to collect academic gowns from their respective Faculty Officers.
iii. It is compulsory for all fresh students to attend the ceremony and properly dressed.
iv. The gown should be returned to the point of collection on or before 7th February, 2020. Late submission attracts penalty.
v. Failure to return the gown attracts payment of the full cost for the Academic Gown.
