Nigerian Law School (NLS) January 2020 Batch Bar Part II (2) Course Online Registration / Application and Admission Form Step by Step Registration Guidelines, Requirements, Method of Application and Closing Date for 2019/2020 Session [PHOTOS]

This is to inform all intending applicants for admission into the Bar Part II Course for the 2020 Academic Session that application will commence on Friday October 4, 2019. The session will commence on Monday January 27, 2020 simultaneously at the Headquarters Bwari, Abuja and the Campuses in Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Yola and Yenegoa.

PLEASE NOTE, IF THE MAT.NO. ON YOUR APPLICATION FORM IS DIFFERENT FROM THE MAT.NO. ON THE ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS’ LIST, YOUR FORM WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

APPLICATION FEE: [N20,000] Twenty Thousand Naira Only

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

The programme is open to law graduates of Nigerian Universities and foreign trained law graduates, who have successfully completed and passed the Bar Part I Course, at the Nigerian Law School.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Prospective applicants are to visit the Nigerian law school website: https://nigerianlawschool.edu.ng/,

Follow the instructions, complete the forms and submit same on-line.

STEP 1: Click Apply For Bar Part II 2020 Session Here

Confirm Your Name In the Eligible Applicants List.
  • Enter Your Session
  • Select Your University
  • Enter Your Matric Number
  • Enter Your Surname 
  • Click on the Submit Button

If your name is on the eligible applicant’s list for your University, then
STEP 2: Generate your remita reference number and pay your application fees.

A reference number will be generated for you to show that you have completed payment.

To print your payment slip, you can print either immediately after generating your reference number

NOTE: Make Payment to the Council of Legal Education Account. Do not pay to the Campus Account of any Law School.

STEP 3: Sign Up for Bar II Application

  • Select Gender i.e Male or Female
  • Enter your Email
  • Enter your Password
  • Select Passport Photograph to be uploaded
  • Tick on the Accept Agreement box
  • Click on the Register Button
  After successful registration, Click on the Login link
  • Enter Registered Email Address
  • Enter Password
  • Click on the Login Button

  • Download Reference Form to Be Filled by the Dean of Your Law Faculty -Form B
  • Download Other Forms if Your Have Been in Regular Employment: Form B1, Form B2
  • Download Medical Form : the Medical Form is to Be Brought to Law School After You Have Been Offered Admission

Downloaded Application forms together with references on applicants, must be completed and returned to the Nigerian Law School, through the Deans of the Faculties of Law on or before Friday November 22, 2019

Applicants should ensure that original academic transcripts and references are received directly from their universities on or before Friday November 22, 2019.

LATE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED,

IMPORTANT NOTICE
1. Only candidates whose data have been forwarded to the Nigerian Law School, by Deans are eligible to apply. Every candidate must therefore confirm his/her name on the Nigerian Law School website before proceeding to pay the application fee. Under no circumstance shall individual candidates approach the Nigerian Law School directly or through Parents/Guardians, for admission.

2. Approved re-admission candidates and cleared referred cases, are to confirm their names under re-admission, on the School’s website before proceeding to apply. Such candidates are to attach copies of their approval or clearance letters to their application forms, and dispatch same to the Secretary to the Council of Legal Education and Director of Administration, at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters, Abuja.
