Study Hard, Become Best Student & Earn N1 Million - IAUE Vice Chancellor

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUE Vice Chancellor Task Fresh Students to Study Hard to be the Best Student and Stand a Chance of Wining The Best Student Award of N1 Million Naira.

All Fresh students of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education have been advised to study hard to earn best student award of one million naira.

The Vice-Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele gave the advice during the orientation programme for fresh students admitted for 2017/2018 academic session at the university auditorium.

He also charged them to acquire computer skills to enable them write their computer based test.

Professor Ndimele admonished the fresh students to be law abiding, shun cultism, examination malpractice and gave his personal number to the students to call him if they encounter any problem or are molested by any staff or lecturer.


While wishing them a fruitful stay at the university, the Vice-Chancellor told them to count themselves lucky to be among the four thousand students admitted as over seven thousand candidates applied for admission into the university.


The Registrar of the university Mrs Hope Kue-Ikoro spoke on university rules and regulations for graduating within stipulated time, where she urged the female students to stop exposing their body to the glares of men. She also advised the male students to be civil, not to fight or exhibit unruly behaviour.


Also speaking the university Librarian Dr. Boma Obi appealed to the students to make use of the library if they want to make first class adding that the library with lots of books is important for their advancement.
