Admission into the College of Health Technology, Calabar commenced on 8th March, 2022.
Interested candidates submit their applications using an electronic platform (e-Application).
Community Health, Medical Laboratory and Pharmacy are among the most sought after departments in the college.
The application process will run for about three months after which an entrance aptitude test is written sometime in June, 2022.
Candidates applying for admission into NBTE courses are exempted from writing the entrance exam.
Successful candidates at the entrance exam then proceed to the next stage which is a written interview and inspection of credentials.
Candidates who pass the interview are then offered admission into the college. Also, candidates applying for admission into NBTE courses who meet the JAMB cut off mark are also offered admission.
It is important to note that candidates coming into the college through JAMB can apply for admission up till September.
Candidates who are unsuccessful at the interview stage but who passed the entrance exam, can apply for supplementary admission into other programmes provided there is vacancy in that department.
Admission into College of Health Technology, Calabar is a very competitive and transparent process.
Prospective students must study hard in order to gain admission into the college.
The college also adheres strictly to its admission quota as provided by the respective regulatory boards and NBTE.

CHT CALABAR SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM 2022/2023
Supplementary admission is open for willing and interested candidates who had written JAMB and the College entrance examination. The sales of supplementary forms will commence on Monday 5th August and closes on the 9th of September, 2022. Applications are requested for:
Candidates who wrote the College entrance are qualified to pick forms for the following non-jamb programmes;
- Medical Imaging Processing Technicians (Radiography)
- Health Education and Promotion
- Environmental Health Technicians
- Professional Diploma in Health Information Management (PD-HIM)
Candidate who wrote JAMB with a minimum score of 120 are qualified to pick forms for the following programmes:
a. ND Computer Science
b. ND Environmental Health Officer
c. ND Health Information Management
d. ND Dispensing Opticianry
Candidates for HND Environmental Health are required to present their National Diploma result (ND-Environmental Health).
Candidates for HND Health Information Management are required to present their National Diploma result (ND-Health Information Management) and their license
HND Public Health Nursing programme is open for Supplementray admission.
NOTE: Awaiting results will NOT be accepted for admission.
PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING CHT CALABAR SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM
- Interested candidates are to visit the office of the Director of Academic Planning (DAP) for screening and authentication of their credentials
- Candidates will then proceed to E.U Prime in the College to obtain remitta and proceed to any bank and pay the sum of 3,300 (Three Thousand Three Hundred Naira).
- The bank teller are expected to be presented to the Bursary Unit in the College to be issued receipts.
- Receipts from Bursary Unit should then be presented to the DAP's office for the purchase of the supplementary forms.

To apply for admission into College of Health Technology Calabar, candidates should follow the following steps:

2. Follow registration process and get payment invoice at EU-prime Cafe in the College.
3. Take payment invoice to any branch of First Bank Nigeria and pay the sum of N8,000.00
4. Return to the portal to complete registration process at EU-prime Cafe

NB: Please note that all candidates seeking admission into the College must present blood group and genotype report from a government hospital.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION DATE
Applicants will be subjected to an Entrance Examination scheduled to hold on the 18th of June 2022 at the College compound. Candidates for Health Information Management - ND, Health Information Management - HND, Environmental Health Officer - ND, Environmental Health Officer - HND and Public Health Nursing are exempted from the Entrance Examination but will come for interview.
