IAUE Matriculation Gown Collection Guidelines 2022/2023
Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Matriculation Gown Collection Procedures and Guidelines for all Fresh/Newly Admitted Matriculating Students Ahead of the 14th Matriculation Ceremony for 2022/2023 Academic Session.
The Authorities of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUE wishes to inform all matriculating students that they are directed to take note of the following instructions:


IAUE Matriculation Gown Collection Guidelines 2022/2023 [FRESHMEN]

  1. Gowns are to be collected from the Faculty Officers on presentation of receipt of payment of the sum of N6,000 for Matriculation Gown (Excluding transaction charges) from Thursday, 30th March 20232.
  2. All fresh students who fails to complete registration formalities and pay his/her school fees before the closure of the portal on Tuesday, 28th March 2023 ceases to be a student of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni Port-Harcourt.
  3. Only students who present evidence of payment of the gown will be allowed to sign the Matriculation Register.
  4. No unsigned Matriculation number will be accepted for official documentation in the University.
  5. Matriculation Ceremony marks the end of registration for the academic session. Any student who fails to register before the Matriculation date will cease to be a student of the University as no registration will be allowed thereafter.
  6. All academic gowns collected must be returned to the Faculty Officer on Monday, 2nd April 2023. Defaulters will be made to pay a penalty of 500.00 ( Five Hundred Naira) only per day.
  7. Furthermore, all fresh students who have completed registration formalities and paid school fees should report at the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre to be captured for identity card (ID) production.
  8. The gowns must not be machine or hand-washed. Direct ironing on the fabric is not allowed, as this could cause damage.
  9. Missing or damaged gowns will be replaced at the cost of N20,000.00  (Twenty Thousand Naira) only per gown.
  10. All Part-Time students are requested to collect their matriculation gowns from the Centre for Continuing Education, but join their various Faculties in the procession and Matriculation.
  11. Matriculating students are to queue up Faculty by Faculty in front of the Auditorium by 9 a.m.
    • Loitering on campus or around the Auditorium by Matriculating Students during the ceremony will not be tolerated by the University
