The Benson Idahosa University (BIU) Management Appoints Professor Sam Guobadia as the acting Vice Chancellor of the Institution.

Benson Idahosa University (BIU) has appointed Prof. Sam Guobadia as the acting Vice Chancellor.

His appointment commences upon the completion of the tenure of former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ernest B. Izevbigie.

Prof. Guobadia is a Professor of Economics with highly rated innovative ideas in economic development, corporate governance, enterprise development and organizational management

Prof. Guobadia has served as Deputy Vice Chancellor, Ag. Dean, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, Head of Department, Economics and Director, BIU Consultancy.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration (FICA) and Institute of Policy Management Development (FIPMD). 


He served as one time President of West African and African-American Chamber of Commerce in New York and a member of the American Economic Association and Royal Economic Society, United Kingdom.
