EKSU Convocation Fee Payment, Gowns & Certificate Collection
Ekiti State University (EKSU) 25th/26th Combined Convocation Fee Payment, Collection of Academic Robes, Invitation Cards, Brochure and Certificate Guidelines, Requirements and Deadline for 2021.

This is to inform all graduands of the Ekiti State University, EKSU that the the Convocation ceremonies will involve the students who graduated from the University in the 2018/2019 and 2018/2019 academic session in all programmes.


EKSU Convocation Fee Payment, Academic Gowns & Certificate Collection Guidelines

Academic robes and invitation cards will be available for collection from Faculty Officers/Secretaries of Faculties/Schools/ /Programmes from Monday, 21st March, 2022 upon payment of the following prescribed charges (excluding commission): 

EKSU CONVOCATION FEES

Consequent upon consultations with relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to the National President of EKSU Alumni Association, the National President of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), SSA to the Governor on Students' Matters, President of EKSU Students' Union, Chairman of Joint Campus Committee (JCC), Ekiti State; Management of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, at a meeting held on Friday, 11th March, 2022, decided to review downwards the administrative and other charges in connection with the forthcoming 40th anniversary and combined 25th & 26th convocation ceremonies, as indicated below:

A) SUB-DEGREE AND FIRST DEGREE:

  • i) Certificate - ₦25,000:00
  • ii) Transcript (student's copy) ₦5, 000:00
  • iii) Brochure - ₦6,000:00
  • iv) Gown. - ₦7,500:00
  • v) Anniversary Levy- ₦5000:00
  • vi) Advancement & Linkages - ₦500:00
  • Total: ₦49,000:00k


(B) PGD AND MASTERS DEGREE:

  • i) Certificate - ₦30,000:00
  • ii) Transcript (student's copy)- ₦5,000:00
  • iii) Gown - ₦15,000:00
  • iv) Brochure - ₦6,000:00
  • v) Anniversary Levy - ₦5000:00
  • vi) Advancement & Linkages - ₦500:00
  • Total: ₦61,500:00


(C) Ph.D:

  • i) Certificate - ₦50,000:00
  • ii) Gown - ₦60,000:00 (take away)
  • iii) Brochure - ₦6,000:00
  • iv) Anniversary Levy - ₦5000:00
  • v) Advancement & Linkages - ₦500:00
  • TOTAL: N121,500:00


Management further reiterated that collection of the Certificate shall not be by proxy and that it is contingent on presentation of valid clearance.

Graduands are to note that any payment earlier made at the point of collection of Notification of Results should not be repeated.

Management also stated that it has not barred any graduand from attending the convocation ceremonies in person, except that only those who made first class will be allowed into the auditorium to maintain physical/social distancing in line with COVID-19 protocols. Meanwhile, others can stay under the canopies if they prefer to attend in person, while provision has also been made to enable graduands and others join any of the ceremonies virtually.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

  1. Login to eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng
    1. Click on Certificate/Transcript
    2. Create a profile by inputting your correct information (please ensure you use the active e-mail address
    3. After creating a profile, please click on apply for Certificate
    4. Enter your graduating year as shown on your Notification of Result. Please enter 2018 if your result was approved in 2018 or 2019 if your result was approved in 2019
    5. On Degree Type, please select your class of degree e.g. First Degree Graduate, Post Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Masters or Post Graduate Ph.D. as the case may be.
    6. Click on “Apply Now”
    7. On the item to Pay, click on “Pay Now
    8. Then Submit.
    9. Input your ATM Card Details.
    10. Click on Pay Now
    11. Input your One Time Password (OTP) sent from your bank and pay.
      Please note that you will be automatically redirected back to the Portal after your payment has been successful.
  2. The printed receipt of payment should be kept intact as it will be required for the collection of certificates/transcripts in future.


COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES DURING CONVOCATION BY GRADUANDS:

  • Granduands who have completed their clearance will be eligible to collect their certificates immediately after the convocation upon the payment of the prescribed fees. 
  • Graduands are implored to pay the prescribed fees on or before 26th March 2022 failing which, they may be asked to pay additional charges.


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES DURING CONVOCATION BY GRADUANDS:

  • Original Statement of Result/Notification of Result;
  • Student Identity Card or Letter of Identification from the Department;
  • Two recent Passport Photographs
  • Evidence of Payment of the Prescribed Fees;
  • EvIdence of Clearance from the University.

DEADLINE:

The deadline for the submission of academic robes is Friday, 2nd April 2022, after which a late submission penalty of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) per day will be paid.

Damage or loss of an academic robe will attract penalty of Seventy-Five Thousand Naira (N75,000.00)
