There is finally hope for students without certificates as the university of Ibadan will soon issue certificates to six thousand students on clear standing. This is as a result of the fruitful meeting between the Vice-Chancellor Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele and the Registrar Mrs Hope Kue-Ikoro with the University of Ibadan Administration.
The documents of the students sent and verified during the exercise gave rise to the move to issue them their certificates.
The Registrar Mrs Hope Kue-Ikoro while responding to the certificate issue also informed Members of Senate that Ignatius Ajuru University of Education is in the process of scripting certificates to National Certificate of Education ( NCE) students who also had problems of non issuance of certificates after graduation.
She thanked those affected for their patience and promised that the next batch of documents would be sent for verification so as to clear the backlog.
