(FUPRE), Delta State are inviting applications from suitably qualified
members of the public to apply for their 2022/2023 academic session
pre-degree programmes admission.
Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 credit passes including English Languages and Mathematics in not more than two (2) examination Sittings.

Aim/Benefits.
Arising from the vision of making the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State a top-rate University with the ability to attract the brightest students, the University commenced its Basic Studies (Pre-Degree) programme in August, 2015 for prospective candidates for science and engineering disciplines. The aim of the programme is to:1. Improve prospective students’ performance in the WASC/NECO/GCE and equivalent examinations in order to enhance and to meet the admission requirements in Science and Engineering programmes.
2. Prepare candidates adequately for the UTME and Post-UTME examinations in order to enhance their admission chances to these programmes.
3. Improve the quality of candidates seeking admission to 100 level of FUPRE programmes and of other Universities.
Available Programmes.
The programme is an intensive nine (9) months teaching and coaching lessons in the following areas:- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Geography
Method of Application
A. LOCAL STUDENT (NIGERIAN) APPLICATION
Candidates seeking admission into the FUPRE Foundation Programme must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in at least five (5) subject at O’ Level, including English Language and Mathematics and 3 relevant subject at not more than 2 sittings in GCE, SSCE, WAEC, NECO and NABTEB with results obtained before registration.Application Fee for Basic Programme is Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only.
B. FOREIGN STUDENT APPLICATION
Foreign candidates seeking admission into the FUPRE Foundation Programme must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in at least five (5) subject at O’ Level, including English Language and Mathematics and 3 relevant subject at not more than 2 sittings in GCE, SSCE, WAEC or equivalent.Application Fee for Foundation Programme is Fifty Dollar ($50) only.
AFTER PAYMENT:
2.) Log into www.fupre.edu.ng. Goto ePortal menu. Click on Basic Studies Registration link
3.) Read the instructions and click Start Registration button
4.) Fill the Online Application Form
5.) Enter the Bank Teller details into the appropriate space
6.) SUBMIT and print the confirmation page
