Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Post-UTME Admission Screening Form,
Eligibility, Requirements, Screening Date, Time, Venue, and Application Guidelines
and Deadline for 2022/2023 Academic Session.
Applications are hereby invited from suitable candidates for admission
into the University of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Undergraduate Degree Programme for 2022/2023 Session.RECOMMENDED: IAUE School Fees Schedule.
Online registration commenced on Monday, 1st August 2022 and close on Sunday, 4th September, 2022. The registration fee is N2, 000.00 only.

Latest Update: This is to inform all UTME/Direct Entry candidates that Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has extended the deadline for the 2022/2023 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Registration Exercise which commenced on 1st August, 2022. The exercise will now close on Sunday, 4th September, 2022. Online screening is scheduled to commence on Monday, 5th September, 2022. Candidates seeking admission into the University who have not registered for the 2022/2023 Post-UTME/DE exercise are hereby advised to do so before the expiration of the deadline of Sunday, 4th Septembert, 2022. The registration fee is N2,000.00 only. Modalities and details for screening will be available soon on the University website and the general public will be duly informed.
Further Reminders:
1. UTME/DE Candidates who did not choose the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as First Choice and are interested in seeking admission into the University should change institution in JAMB portal to the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as First Choice and register for screening using the link in the University website. UTME candidates must score 140 and above to be eligible for registration. The registration deadline has been extended until Sunday, 4th September, 2022.
2. Candidates who registered for JAMB using awaiting results should remember to upload their O’level to JAMB portal and do the same in the University portal.
3. Please, ensure error-free and seamless registration. The University is engaging in data verification of its candidates. The data provided by the candidates during registration will be electronically matched with the data provided by JAMB against every candidate. This is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
4. Use your personal phone number for registration. Information will be available on a regular basis. No duplicate phone number is allowed.
5. Registration is strictly online. Register from your convenience! Anywhere!

ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates who wrote the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and who chose Ignatius Ajuru University of Education as their First and Second choice
- Candidates who scored 140 and above, including those who may not have chosen the university but are interested in studying at the institution as well as candidates with visual, hearing and speech impairment who scored 100 and above .
Proceed for online registration as follows!
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Payment for registration and screening will be online via ATM Card or bank after generation of an invoice at the University website (www.iauoe.edu.ng) as listed below. The cost of screening is two thousand naira (N2, 000).Candidates are expected to register for the 2022/2023 UTME Screening exercise online as follows:
- Visit the University Website iauoe.edu.ng.
- On ADMISSION Menu, click on “2022/2023 UTME Screening.
- On the page that appears, click on “Register for 2022/2023 Session UTME Screening”.
- A page appears; enter your JAMB Reg. No. and Click Register.
- If you are a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Your details will appear.
- Click on Confirm to confirm your details.
- Enter your Phone No and E-mail & click on submit.
- An SMS and E-mail containing your logon details will be sent to you. Your logon details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note of.
- If you are NOT a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Click on UTME Registration button, a form will appear.
- Fill the form completely and click on submit.
- An SMS and E-mail containing your logon details will be sent to you. Your logon details will also be displayed on the page for you to copy and take note of.
- Click on Login and enter your username and password sent to your email/phone.
- You will be prompted to change your password. Save your new password.
- From the menu on the left, click on Pay Screening Fees.
- Click on Pay for UTME Registration button and then click on Generate Invoice below.
- Confirm your Invoice and click on Proceed to Pay. Print your invoice.
- You may pay with ATM Card or proceed to Bank with your Invoice to pay.
- After successful payment, click on Update Personal Data menu on the left. UPDATE ALL FIELDS on your registration form and submit.
- Print your Registration Slip and log out.
- Save your login details. Your username and your password are your personal credentials to access your profile in the university portal
- Please, ensure error-free and seamless registration. The University is engaging in data verification of its candidates. We will do a data matching with the information provided by JAMB through its database.
- Please note that registration is online and candidates are advised to register from any location as no candidate will be allowed physically on the University Campus.
SCREENING SCHEDULE & GUIDELINES
Therefore, all candidates seeking admission into the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education must remain at home as the screening is conducted.
The following modalities will be followed:
i. No further post-UTME test is required. JAMB UTME will be used as 100% score for all candidates. Direct Entry candidates will also be screened with their uploaded documents.
ii. Candidates’ data as provided through JAMB Central Admission Processing System which has also been uploaded to the university portal will be carefully screened for admission processing.
iii. Candidates who did not rank well but scored high during the JAMB Unified Tertiary Examination (UTME) will be notified for change of course to enable the Admissions Unit process their admission. The ranking implies that candidates must have the required UTME and O’level combinations as outlined in the JAMB Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS).
iv. Candidates are advised to regularly monitor their admission online on JAMB portal to effect necessary changes that will be required.
The changes could include:
A. Candidates may be required to effect change of course in JAMB portal for a proper ranking within a given period.
B. Candidates may also be required to make certain data corrections within a given period.
C. Affected candidates will be contacted through secured text message notification.
The information must be confirmed on the university social media pages and the website.
Candidates, parents and guardians are advised to regularly visit the university website and social media pages for vital information. The university will not be responsible for any act of deception or scam on the candidates, parents and guardians if the advice is not fully followed. It is believed that candidates used their personal phone numbers during the registration for the screening exercise as no duplicate phone number is allowed by the university portal.
V. Candidates with O’level Awaiting Result: Online screening will be conducted for candidates with O’level awaiting result when such results are available and uploaded on JAMB and university portals. Therefore, candidates with awaiting result should not panic as a new date will be fixed for their screening.
The online Screening Exercise is scheduled to hold on Monday, 5th September, 2022.
A new date for the screening of candidates with awaiting result will be communicated in due course.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are to come to the screening centre with the following:- O’level certificates (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalents).
- Print-out of the online registration and JAMB original slip.
- Two passport photographs
- Birth certificate/Age declaration
- Local Government Identification letter
