ACU Notice to Staff & Students on 2nd Semester Exam 2019/2020

Ajayi Crowther University (ACU) Circular Notice to all Staff and Students on Commencement of Second (2nd) Semester Examination for 2019/2020 Academic Session.

At an enlarged Management Meeting with the Committee of Deans and University Examination Committee on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, the earlier decisions of Management on the Second Semester Examinations for the 2019/2020 Session were reviewed and the following new decisions were taken:



The University Management met with the University Examination Committee and the ICT Centre to review the preparation for the forthcoming examination in the interest of all concerned. Please note the following update:
1. There shall be a Trial Test for ALL students on Monday, July 13, 2020 to test run the online examination system on students devices and in readiness for the examination.
2. Monday, July 20, 2020, earlier scheduled for the commencement of the Main Examination will now be for Mid-Semester Examination and the Lecture Time Table will be used for the Mid-Semester Examination from July 20 — 25, 2020.
3. There shall be a Help Desk ([email protected] for all complaints or observations on the examination from Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 4.00pm.
4. ALL students must undertake the Mid-Semester Examination.
5. ALL students are to register on the Google Meet application to enable Invigilators to monitor the students. Any student who moves away frcm the camera is deemed to have left the examination.
6. The Second Semester Examination will now take place from August 3 — 14, 2020 in line with the Time Table earlier circulated with only the date to be amended.
7. Students should note that, the username will be the student's Matric Number without forward slash while the password will be a special pin to be sent to the respective students valid e-mail address and bulk SMS. This will be used for the Trial Test, Mid-Semester Examination and the Main Examination.
8. Students of the Faculty of Law will not take part in the Second Semester Examination as a result of the directive from Council'of Legal Education. They will however take part in the examination of courses taken from other Departments in the University. Their examination in Law Courses would hold when Universities re-open. 9. The University is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring a hitch-free Second Semester Examination and students are enjoined to do all that is expected of them.
10. Final year students are enjoined to work hard at completing their projects on time. We wish all our students the very best in the examination.
