Ambrose Alli, Ekpoma, AAU Issues Warning to Graduating Students Concerning the Habit of Wild Jubilation Within and Off Campus.
Members of the University community, all students in particular, graduating students are hereby reminded of the policy against wild jubilation/ celebrations within and outside University campus during or after examination is still in forceThe University authorities in its last senate meeting has further placed total ban on any form of wild jubilation/celebration which include the following:
Motor, Bike or Bicycle parade, pouring of water, sand, drinks/drink of alcohol, shouting, hooting, dancing and all other activities that are criminal in nature
Anybody caught embarking on the above unnecessary/unwholesome practice would be sanction according to the enabling law of the University
All students should please note celebration on graduation from the University during convocation is a most ideal. It is expected the right thing would be done at the appropriate time
The Vice Chancellor, Prof I.A Onimawo on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staffs and students of this University wish all students success in the up coming second semester examination
