Lagos State University, LASU Emerges Winners of the Lagos State University Students Union, LASUSU Inter-Varsity Debate for 2018/2019 Session.
The Lagos State University debate team earlier today defeated three other universities at the grand finale of the 2018 LASUSU INTER-VARSITY DEBATE. A total of eight universities participated in the opening stages of the competition while only four institutions made it to the final.The full result of the much publicised 2018 LASUSU Inter Varsity Debate final is as follows:
- Team B - LASU- 85.5%
- Team D - FUNAAB- 84%
- Team C - U.I - 80.6%
- Team A- Unizik- 78.3%
- LASU = 1st
- FUNAAB = 2nd
- U.I = 3rd
- UNIZIK - = 4th
The Lagos State University was represented by a team of three students :
Uzuegbu Faith Chindinma, a 400-level student at the department of English, Faculty of Arts,
Lawal Ademola Ibraheem, 400-level, Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences; and
Tiamiyu Hezekiah, 300-level student at the Faculty of Law.
