  • His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, Doctor of Laws (Honoris Causa)
  • His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, FNSE, FNIAE. Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa)

 

CONVOCATION GOWN PICK-UP CENTER

Subsequent to the above, there is a need to get your Convocation gown across to you.

Kindly select your most preferred center amongst the listed as your collection point.

Take note of the following instructions:

a. Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students who have graduated and are not indebted to the University are eligible for the 2020/2021 Convocation and shall be allowed to fill this form.

b. You shall have access to collect your gown from the center you select.

c. This form shall filled and submitted.

d. Date and time for the collection of Convocation Gowns shall be communicated.

e. Kindly log on to your portal and complete the form.

NB: The return of Academic gowns and collection of Certificates, Student's Project Copy, Alumni Souvenir shall commence immediately after the Convocation after clearance from the relevant Departments/units.

ABUAD Certificates Collection Requirements and Guidelines

All 2020/2021 Graduands, please note that the following MUST BE PRESENTED at the various collection Centres before the issuance of Degree Certificates.

  • STUDENT I.D CARD.
  • A copy of your CLEARANCE FORM.
  • O'LEVEL CERTIFICATE (Original for sighting and Photocopy for submission). Note: this must be the Certificate and not Result Slip.
  • CONVOCATION GOWN (if collected): Convocation gowns shall only be received if returned in good condition. Any damage done to the gown shall attract financial penalty of Fifty Thousand Naira (#50,000) .


Note:

  • MBBS Graduands who collected University’s Laboratory Coats during induction, must pay the sum of Twenty-five thousand Naira (#25,000).
  • Collection of Certificates by Proxy shall only be allowed if the Authorized Person presents a letter of Authority (duly signed by the Student), Convocation gown (if collected) and other required documents as stated above.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS

Students coming for the 12th Founder’s Day and 9th Convocation Ceremonies should note the following guidelines regulating participation in the events:

  • Approval has been given that all graduating students should return to school on Saturday, November 13,, 2021
  • Thanksgiving service is on Sunday, November 14, 2021
  • All graduating students must reside on campus while the ceremonies last, there shall be no going in and out for whatever reason during their stay on campus
  • All graduating students, their parents, and their visitors will be required to undergo COVID19 antibody test at their own expenses on entry into the campus
  • While coming for clearance, graduating students are expected to fulfil the following conditions
  • Come with original O’Level certificates and photocopy (ies).
  • Evidence of full payment of all school-fees, PTCF fees etc.
  • Graduating students should be modest in their dressing and abide by rules guiding physical appearance on campus.
  • Punctuality to all programmes is mandatory.
  • All graduated students shall leave the campus unfailingly on Monday, November 22, 2021.
  • Absolute compliance is hereby solicited.
