The Management of Akwa Ibom State University wishes to inform the general public and interested, qualified candidates that the sales of supplementary post-utme admission form has commenced for 2021/2022 academic session.
All candidates who have not yet seen their names on the admission list to visit the nearest JAMB CBT Centre to upload their WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result so as not to forfeit their chances of gaining admission.
However, the Akwa Ibom State University still has space to accommodate qualified candidates who could not secure admission into their 1st Choice Programmes [AKSU Post-UTME / Direct Entry Screening Form Out 2021/2022].
Interested candidates are hereby requested to consider the option of changing to other Programmes with the same UTME subject combination and O' level requirements, as indicated below;

- MANAGEMENT SCIENCES: Accounting. Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing
- PHYSICAL SCIENCES: Mathematics, Chemistry, Geology, Statistics, Physics, computer Science
- SOCIAL SCIENCES: Economics, Political Science, Sociology & Anthropology
Eligibility
Categories of candidates who cannot be recommended for AKSU Supplementary admission are as follows;- Candidates who did not register in the Post-UTME screening exercise.
- Applicants who did NOT choose AKSU or change to AKSU as their University of First (1st) Choice in the 2021 UTME.
- Candidates with wrong UTME subject combination.
- Candidates with incomplete O’level requirements or awaiting result.
- Candidates who have not uploaded their O’level on JAMB portal/whose uploads have not yet reflected on CAPS.
Please Note:
Changing to any of these Programmes as indicated above does not guarantee automatic admission. Only candidates who meet the cut-off mark for the Programme would be considered.
