This is to inform all Parents and Students that the Lagos State Examinations Board has announced the date for the resit of the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for students of public and approved private secondary schools for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Latest Update: The Lagos State Examinations Board has fixed October 6 as the new date for the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) resit.
The Director of the Board, Orunsolu Adebayo who made the announcement in a statement issued on Wednesday, said that the postponement became necessary to accommodate schools yet to register their candidates.
The examination which was initially scheduled for September 28, will take place in various designated centres across the state.
The statement urged principals to take note of the new date and make best use of the extended date to ensure that affected candidates were duly informed.
The Lagos State Examination Board Y2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) resit test has been scheduled to hold on Thursday 6th October, 2022 at various designated centres across the State.
The resit examination would take place across the 45 centres in Lagos for candidates who have less than six credits out of the 10 subjects registered including English Studies and Mathematics before they could be promoted to Senior Class (SSS1).

Please note that any registered candidate who failed to meet the standards would repeat the same class after the resit Exams might have been conducted.
