UNICAL Change of Course (UTME) Admission Form - 2018/2019

This is to apprise the public that Admissions into the under-listed Departments are now available for candidates wishing to study the Courses in the University of Calabar FOR CHANGE OF COURSE, 2018/2019 academic session


COURSES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Science Laboratory Technology

UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION
English Language, Chemistry, Biology and Physics

O'LEVEL REQUIREMENT
5 SSCE credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

2. Tourism Studies

UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION
English Language and any three social science/science/arts subject.

O'LEVEL REQUIREMENT
5 SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other arts or social science subjects

3. Home Economics

UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION
English Language and any three of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

O'LEVEL REQUIREMENT
5 SSCE Credit passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates seeking admissions into these departments must have;

- Choose the University of Calabar as their first choice
- Sat for the 2018/19 Post UTME
- Obtained five (5) 0'level credits requirements as specified above and with the correct UTME subject combination.


METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested applicants are to pick a CHANGE OF COURSE FORM from Room 13, Academic Division, Old Registry and thereafter proceed to any CBT centre and do a change of course on JAMB portal to any of the aforementioned department.

It should however be noted that changing to any of these Departments doesn't guarantee automatic admissions. Only candidates who meet the programme requirements would be considered.

CLOSING DATE

The deadline for candidates to change programmes on JAMB portal is Friday, 19 October, 2018.
