FUPRE Registration, Clearance & Fees Payment Guidelines 2020/2021

Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) Registration, Clearance Exercise and School Fees Payment Guidelines and Procedures for Fresh / Newly Admitted and Returning Students for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

This is to inform all the fresh and old undergraduate students of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE) that the management of the institution has released the guidelines for Registration/Clearance and school fees payment for the 2020/2021 academic session.


FRESHMEN CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

ALL FRESH STUDENTS ARE HEREBY ADVISED TO REPORT FOR THE SCREENING AND CLEARANCE EXERCISE WITH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

1. REMITA PRINT-OUT FOR PAYMENT OF N65,000 NON-REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE FOR FRESH STUDENTS, DULY STAMPED BY THE OFFICER IN CHARGE OF STUDENT’S ACCOUNT
2. INSTITUTION’S COPY OF JAMB ADMISSION LETTER
3. JAMB RESULT/ DIRECT ENTRY RESULT SLIP
4. POST UTME RESULT SLIP
5. FUPRE ADMISSION NOTIFICATION SLIP
6. SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE RESULT (WAEC,NECO OR NABTEB)
7. BIRTH CERTIFCATE OR AGE DECLARATION
8. LOCAL GOVERNMENT LETTER OF IDENTIFICATION
9. TWELVE COLOURED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS
10. FIVE COLOURED POST CARD PHOTOGRAPHS
11. WAEC,NECO OR NABTEB RESULT SCRATCH CARDS
12. FOUR PHOTOCOPIES OF EACH OF THE ITEMS IN NOS 1-8 AND 1 EXTRA COPY OF ITEM 6 (MAKING IT 5 COPIES OF ITEM 6)

FUPRE Registration & Clearance Guidelines for Fresh Students 2020/2021

A]  ACADEMIC AFFAIRS’ STAND

1.    PRESENTATION OF DULY STAMPED REMITA PRINT-OUT OF N65,000, BEING NON- REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE
2.    NEW STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO REPORT AT THE TETFUND BUILDING II FOR SCREENING OF THEIR O/LEVEL RESULTS AND OTHER PARTICULARS
3.    PRESENT ORIGINAL COPIES OF CREDENTIALS AND WHERE STATEMENT OF RESULTS ARE TENDERED, STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE SCRATCH CARDS TO CHECK THE RESULT ON-LINE
4.    FOR RETURNING STUDENTS, THEIR SEMESTER RESULTS WOULD BE USED FOR CLEARANCE TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
5.    NEW STUDENTS ARE TO RECEIVE AUTHORITY TO PAY STUDENTS’ CHARGES AFTER BEING CLEARED.

B]      BURSARY

1.    EXCHANGE AUTHORITY TO PAY NOTE FOR CLEARANCE FOR PAYMENT
2.    PROCEED TO PAY STUDENT CHARGES AS STATED IN THE FEE SCHEDULE THROUGH REMITA
3.    PRESENT EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT AND GET IT STAMPED AT THE BURSARY STAND

C]    ONLINE REGISTRATION

1.    PROCEED TO ICT OFFICE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION (FOR NEW
STUDENTS ONLY). RETURNING STUDENTS CAN ACCESS THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PORTAL FROM ANYWHERE).
2.    A USERNAME AND PASSWORD WILL BE GENERATED FOR EACH FRESH STUDENT FOR SUBSEQUENT REGISTRATION EXERCISES.
3.    FOUR (4) COPIES OF STUDENTS’ COURSE REGISTRATION FORM  
WILL BE GIVEN TO EACH STUDENT.
4.    SUBMIT A COPY EACH OF THE COURSE REGISTRATION FORM PRINTOUT TO THE ACADEMIC AFFAIRS OFFICER, THE COLLEGE AND THE DEPARTMENT.  THE LAST COPY IS TO BE KEPT BY THE STUDENT AS HIS/HER COPY.

D]. HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION

USING THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD GENERATED BY THE ICT OFFICE,       STUDENTS ARE TO APPLY FOR HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION ONLINE.

E].MEDICAL SCREENING

STUDENTS ARE TO PROCEED TO THE UNIVERSITY HEALTH CENTRE TO     UNDERTAKE THEIR MEDICAL SCREENING.

F] . COLLEGE/DEPARTMENTAL REGISTRATION

STUDENTS ARE TO PROCEED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE COLLEGES FOR BOTH THE DEPARTMENTAL AND COLLEGE REGISTRATION.

G] LIBRARY

NEW STUDENTS ARE TO PROCEED TO THE LIBRARY FOR LIBRARY REGISTRATION AND COLLECTION OF LIBRARY ID CARDS.  A COPY OF THE LIBRARY GUIDE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO EACH STUDENT.

H]  SECURITY

STUDENTS ARE TO PROCEED ONLINE TO COMPLETE THE SECURITY FORM.
  
NOTE: FAILURE TO PAY STUDENTS CHARGES AND NON REGISTRATION OF COURSES FOR ANY SESSION RENDERS THEM VOLUNTARILY WITHDRAWN FROM THE UNIVERSITY.

FUPRE Registration and School Fees Payment Guidelines for Returning Students 2020/2021

1. Visit https://www.fupreonline.com/ and click on “Student Login”
2. It will request for your Matriculation Number and Password
3. Enter your Matriculation Number and password use “password” as password then Click on “Login”
4. On your dashboard, Click on “Edit Profile” to complete the basic information page (Please note: Enter only valid phone number and email address you can also update Gender, Marital Status, State of Origin. LGA, Country, Date of Birth and click “Update” button to finish.
5. To further navigate your way on the portal to do any other thing, school fees payment is required. Click on “Pay Fee” and this takes you to another page to generate invoice for your payment.
6. Click “Receipt and Invoice” you will find your already generated invoice, then click “Pay” it will display your invoice details.
7. You will be requested to pay, so click “Pay with Remita” and you will be redirected to Remita payment gateway to complete your payment.
7. Enter ATM card (Mastercard or Visa) number and other details as appropriate and submit
8. Enter "OTP code" sent to your phone and click continue to complete your payment.
9. After a successful payment, you will be re-routed back to the portal to complete your course registration and others.
10. Login to your dashboard, Click on “Course Registration” and select your courses to complete your registration.
11. Ensure you print payment receipt and completed registration form

NOTE: You can always re-query your payment attempt in case you have been debited and network fails while completing your payment. Enter your Matriculation number, click "Get details", then re-query your unsuccessful payment attempt
