Bauchi State University Gadau (BASUG) Registration and School Fees Payment Guidelines and Procedures for Fresh / Newly Admitted and Returning Students for 2022/2023 Academic Session [UNDERGRADUATES].
This is to inform both fresh and returning students of Bauchi State University that the portal for undergraduate regular students is open for registration for the 2020/2021 academic session.

The registration exercise commenced.

All students are therefore requested to register on or before the end date.

Consequent upon this therefore, all newly admitted students are to visit the university’s website and download their basug admission letters after making a payment of N1000 acceptance fee to the following account number:

All new and returning students are also to note that payment of school fees has commenced. Note that all payments must be made through RRR. Please follow the instructions for making payment provided on the University’s portal.

Any student who fails to register withing the stipulated period will be considered as having voluntarily withdrawn from the University.

BASUG Registration Guidelines 2022/2023 | Fresh & Old Students

  1. Candidates should ensure they print JAMB admission letters before proceeding to register on the University portal.
  2. New students should use their JAMB registration numbers as both username and password on the admissions portal.
  3. New students should use their JAMB registration numbers as username and “password” as password on the registration portal
  4. Returning students should use their matriculation numbers as username and “password” as password on the registration portal
  5. Please refer to the registrations section of this website for detailed steps on how to register and make payments. If at any stage of the registration you encounter difficulties, please contact the ICT Unit of the University at [email protected] for guidance

Registration Guidelines

1. Log on to and click on portal and go to Undergraduate registrations. A page will open, carefully select registration and you'd see a login page.

2. For fresh students, use your JAMB registration number as username and "password" as password. You'd be prompted to change password, please oblige and create a new password. Returning students can use their university assigned password and username.

3. After a successful login, click on fees payment. Carefully check if it's your account by checking the name. Please do not pay if the details are not yours, otherwise you'll pay for another student and the University will not take responsibility for your error.

4. Students can choose to pay via Remita or Moneta

5. Click on proceed to make payment.

6. Make payments and generate receipt.

7. Read every message carefully before proceeding to the next step.

8. Upon successful payment, your account will be activated and you can proceed with course registration.


    • ONLY RRR(Remita Retrieval Reference) code generated from this platform is valid. PRINT out your INVOICE before proceeding to make payment at the bank.
    • Applicants are to use their own phone numbers as this will be the official communication channel. No complains will be entertained for wrong phone numbers. For assistance please contact [email protected] 
    NB: All students are expected to submit their electronic bank teller (evidence of payment) and online course registration form duly signed by the Head of Department.
