Yobe State University (YSU) School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) Registration Schedule /Commencement Date, Guidelines and Deadline for all Newly Admitted Postgraduate (PG) Students for 2020/2021 Academic Session.
This is to inform all newly admitted postgraduate students of the Yobe State University, YSU that the management has announced the commencement date, deadline and guidelines for the central registration for 2020/2021 academic session.

YSU NOTIFICATION FOR THE COMMENCEMENT OF REGISTRATION OF NEWLY ADMITTED POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS FOR THE 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION
This is to inform all newly admitted students to the various Postgraduates Programmes that the Central Registration Exercise will take place as follows:
- Date: Wednesday 20th October, 2021 to Saturday 30th October, 2021 (Ten (10) days).
- Time: from 9:00AM to 4:00 PM
- Venue: School of Postgraduate Studies premises
All newly admitted students are requested to appear physically before the Postgraduate Central Registration Committee to be screened and cleared for registration within the aforementioned period, after which the late registration period will commence.
YSU GUIDELINES FOR NEW POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS' REGISTRATION 2020/2021
Step 1: Student report to Postgraduate School with original Credentials
- Check authenticity of Credentials
- Grant Permit Online
- Sign & Stamp Student's admission letter
Step 2: Student report to ICT for Online Registration
- Register student online.
- Generate RRR code for payment
- Give student option to pay. directly with ATM card or print invoice for payment @ any Bank branch
- Print course registration form
Step 3: Student report to Bursary for payment verification
- Verify payment using RRR code presented by student.
- Sign & Stamp on the printed receipt.
Step 4: Student report to university clinic for medical check
- Examine student's medical fitness.
- Issue medical certificate of fitness to student.
Step 5: Submit copy of credentials and course registration form to department, faculty, and Postgraduate School.
