The Lagos State University (LASU) Senate, during its Special Meeting on Monday, 16th December 2024, approved the reviewed academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session. The calendar accommodates the declaration of Christmas and New Year breaks and provides a detailed schedule for academic activities for both semesters. Below are the details:

1. Monday, 18th November 2024 – Friday, 21st February 2025

   • Activity: Resumption, Registration, and Lectures for New and Returning Students
   • Duration: 14 weeks

2. Monday, 24th February 2025 – Friday, 28th February 2025

   • Activity: Lectures continue (Late registration with a penalty fee of ₦5,000)
   • Duration: 1 week

3. Monday, 3rd March 2025 – Friday, 28th March 2025

   • Activity: Examinations
   • Duration: 4 weeks

4. Monday, 31st March 2025 – Friday, 11th April 2025

   • Activity: Grading and Uploading of Results
   • Duration: 2 weeks

5. Monday, 14th April 2025 – Friday, 18th April 2025

   • Activity: Departmental and Faculty Consideration, Uploading of Corrections, and ICT Processing of Results
   • Duration: 1 week

6. Monday, 21st April 2025 – Friday, 25th April 2025

   • Activity: Collation of Results, Senate Meetings for Consideration of Results
