Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA): Lagos State University (LASU) Online Admission Screening Exercise Dates, Time, Venue Schedule, Document Requirements, Screening Procedures and Guidelines for Fresh/Newly Admitted Students for 2022/2023 Academic Session [STREAM 1 & STREAM 2].
This is to inform all successful Candidates offered Provisional Admission for the 2022/2023 Academic Session in the University and, have paid the NON-REFUNDABLE ACCEPTANCE FEE OF TWENTY THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY(N20,000.00) AND TEN THOUSAND NAIRA (N10,000.00) ONLY MEDICAL FEE that the Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA) Screening Exercise will commence from Friday, 31st March 2023 to Friday 14th April, 2023for both Stream 1 and Stream 2 candidates.


Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA) 2022/2023 Admission Screening/Clearance Exercise for Stream 1 and Stream 2 Candidates is STRICTLY ONLINE (NO NEED OF VISITING THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS).


1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

Successful Candidates offered Provisional Admission for the 2022/2023 Academic Session in the University are hereby advised to visit the Lagos State University Central Admission Clearance App (LACACA) for the Central Screening Exercise

LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY CENTRAL ADMISSION CLEARANCE APP (LACACA) SCREENING / CLEARANCE DATES & TIME-TABLE SCHEDULE FOR STREAM 1 & STREAM 2

1. For Stream 1

  • Date: Friday, 31st March 2023

2. For Stream 2

  • Date: Friday, 31st March 2023

3. For Stragglers

  • Date: Friday, 31st March 2023
  • Time: 8am - 4pm Daily.
  • Venue: STRICTLY ONLINE.

2.0 LASU REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE:

Prospective Candidates should upload the following documents for the Screening Exercise:

1. Four [4] recent passport photographs;
2. Original and Four [4] copies of WAEC/NECO/GCE/NCE/Diploma/A’Level/NABTEB Certificates;
3. New Scratch card to verify WAEC/NECO/GCE results online [2 scratch cards where 2 results are used for the admission]
NOTE: Only One [1] Sitting is allowed for Medicine and Dentistry
4. Original and Four [4] copies of Birth Certificate;
5. Original and Four [4] copies of JAMB Admission Letter;
6. Original and Four [4] copies of JAMB Results;
7. Original and Four [4] copies of IIVC certificate for Lagos Indigenes only;
8. Original and Four [4] copies of a letter of undertaking;
9. Original and Four [4] copies of evidence of payment of acceptance/other fees.

3.0 LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY CENTRAL ADMISSION CLEARANCE APP (LACACA) ONLINE SCREENING & CLEARANCE EXERCISE GUIDELINES 2022/2023

PROCEDURE FOR LASU CENTRAL ADMISSIONS CLEARANCE (LACACA) FOR FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION)

Admitted candidates into Lagos State University in the 2022/2023 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance exercise through the use of LASU Central Admissions Clearance App (LACACA). Successful candidates, at the end of the LACACA operation, shall be assigned matriculation numbers while unsuccessful candidates shall be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admissions. 

The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited; and as such all the participating and admitted candidates in the 2022/2023 academic session are to pay for the consultancy service through the LASU Consult Ltd. account given below:

STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH TO COMPLETE THE LACACA OPERATION

I. Visit lasu.edu.ng/epayment
II. Click "NAIRA PAYMENT"
III. Click "UNDERGRADUATE (FULL-TIME) NEWLY ADMITTED 2022/2023 SESSION" or "UNDEGRADUATE (STREAM 2) NEWLY ADMITTED 2022/2023 SESSION" for Stream 1 and Stream 2 respectively.
IV. Supply JAMB Registration Number in the field labelled "Matric/Application/Unique/UTME Number"
V. Select "UNDERGRADUATE LACACA from the drop down labelled "Choose Payment"
VI. Select "NAIRA" from the drop-down labelled "Payment Currency"
VII. Click Continue
VIII. Supply valid Email Address and Phone numbers.
IX. Choose Amount
X. Click Next

STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH TO COMPLETE THE LACACA OPERATION

i. Visit LASU Website – https://www.lasu.edu.ng
ii. Point to STUDENT Tab and click on UG LACACA
iii. Enter your UTME registration number and surname, click on Submit

Candidates are expected to complete the following on the dashboard:
(a) Validate your basic bio-data details
(b) Verify disability status
(c) Upload O’Level scratch card details.
(d) Upload original birth certificate.
(e) Upload original UTME Results.
(f) Upload original JAMB Admission Letter.
(g) Upload scanned Signature.
(h) Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and then click on Submit.

iv. At this stage, the Admission Clearance progresses to 20% while the documents have been submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated University officials.
v. Candidates are therefore expected to check for the progress of the Admission Clearance as necessary attention may be required based on the uploaded documents.
vi. Candidates with error(s) that require correction will be required to pay for correction of such error(s) on the LASU payment portal – https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment
vii. Upon attainment of 100% clearance progress, successful candidate will be able to print LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2022/2023 Academic Session and assigned a Matriculation Number.

Deadline:

The online clearance will commence on Friday, 31st of March 2023 and the portal will be closed on Friday 14th of April, 2023. Please note that this timeline is strict and extension may not apply.

Rejected students are advised to check their portal and note the reason for rejection.
