Lagos State Government Declares Basic Education Certificate, BECE Admission Forms Free of Charge for all Junior Secondary School III {JSS3} Students in Public Secondary Schools in Lagos State.
The Lagos State Govt has called on parents of JSS3 students who will sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the state public secondary schools not to pay any sum of money to anyone under any guise as all fees relating to the exam have been paid by the government.This gesture is to relieve parents of the burden of such fees as well as create equal opportunities for all qualified students to assess the examinations.
The Permanent secretary, Ministry of Education, Mrs Adebunmi Adekaye, who made this known urged students and parents to report any official of government, who requests for payment of money for whatever reason.
