Kaduna State College of Education, KSCOE Internal and External Advertisement for Academic and Non-Academic Staff Vacant Job Positions from April, 2019.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following Academic and Non-Academic Positions in the College:


QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

I. Candidates applying for the posiƟon of Chief Lecturer I (CONTISS 15) must possess a minimum of Master's Degree in the relevant field with, at least, eighteen (18) years relevant cognate experience or Ph.D. in the relevant field with, at least, fourteen (14) years relevant cognate experience plus, at least, 20 points from academic publicaƟons obtained as follows, Journal/Conference Papers (2 points),Chapter in a Text book (3 points), Standard Textbook (4 points).

II) For the posiƟon of Chief Lecturer II (CONTISS 14) candidates must possess a minimum of Masters Degree in relevant field with at least Fourteen (14) years relevant cognate experience or Ph.D. in relevant field with, at least, ten (10) years relevant cognate experience plus at least 16 points
from academic publicaƟons obtained as follows, Journal/Conference Papers (2 points), Chapter in a Text book (3 points), Standard Textbook (4 points)

III) For the posiƟon of Principal Lecturer (CONTISS 13) candidates must possess a minimum of Masters Degree in relevant field with, at least, eleven (11) years cognate experience or Ph.D. in relevant field with, at least, seven (7) years relevant cognate experience plus at least 12 points from
academic publicaƟons obtained as follows, Journal/Conference Papers (2 points), Chapter in a Text book (3 points), Standard Textbook (4 points).

IV) For the posiƟon of Senior Lecturer (CONTISS 12) a candidate must possess a minimum of Masters Degree in the relevant field with, at least, eight (8) years relevant cognate experience or Ph.D. in relevant field with, at least, six (6) years relevant cognate experience plus, at least, 8 points
from academic publicaƟons obtained as follows, Journal/Conference Papers (2 points), Chapter in a Text book (3 points), Standard Textbook (4 points)

V) For the posiƟon of Lecturer I (CONTISS 11) candidates must possess a minimum of a relevant good degree from a recognized University with, at least, nine (9) years relevant cognate experience or Masters Degree from a recognized University in relevant field with, at least, six (6) years
relevant cognate experience plus 4 points from academic publicaƟons obtained as follows, Journal/Conference Papers (2 points), Chapter in a Text book (3 points), Standard Textbook (4 points).

VI) For the posiƟon of Lecturer II (CONTISS 09) candidates must possess a minimum of a relevant good degree (B.Ed., B.A (Ed), B.A Hons) from a recognized University with at least six (6) years relevant cognate experience or Masters Degree (M.Ed., M.A or M.Sc.) from a recognized
University in relevant field with, at least, three (3) years relevant cognate experience plus 2 points from academic publicaƟons obtained as follows, Journal/Conference Papers (2 points), Chapter in a Text book (3 points), Standard Textbook (4 points).

VII) For the posiƟon of lecturer III (CONTISS 08) candidates must possess a minimum of a relevant good degree (B.Ed., B.A Hons.) from a recognized University.

VIII) All applicants for Lecturer posiƟon must have teaching qualificaƟon, registraƟon with the Teachers RegistraƟon Council of Nigeria and PublicaƟons of ArƟcles, Journals, Chapters in Textbooks and Standard Textbooks where required.

IX) For the posiƟon of AdministraƟve Officer I (CONTISS 08), candidates must be holders of a Degree in Law or the HumaniƟes not below Second Class Lower (2/2) division from a recognized insƟtuƟon of Higher Learning, plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate and at least 3 years relevant cognate experience or a Masters Degree from a recognized insƟtuƟon of Higher Learning plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

X) For the posiƟon of AdministraƟve Officer II (CONTISS 07), candidates must be holders of a Degree in Law or the HumaniƟes not below Second Class Lower (2/2) Division from a recognized University plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XI) For the posiƟon of Higher Technical Officer (Architecture) (CONTISS 07) candidates must be holders of HND in Architecture from a recognized insƟtuƟon of higher learning plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XII) For the posiƟon of Building Engineer (CONTISS 08), candidates must be holders of a Degree in Building Engineering not below Second Class Lower (2/2) Division from a recognized University. Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XIII) For the posiƟon of Higher Technical Officer (QuanƟty Survey) (CONTISS 07), candidates must be holders of HND in QuanƟty Surveying not below Second Class Lower (2/2) Division from a recognized insƟtuƟon of higher learning, plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XIV) For the posiƟon of Medical Director Candidates must be holders of MBBS from a recognized insƟtuƟon registered with the Nigerian Medical Council with, at least, 15 years cognate experience or by direct appointment of a holder of a Post Graduate qualificaƟon in medicine plus at least 12 years cognate experience.

XV) For the posiƟon of Staff Nurse I (CONTISS 07) Candidates must be holders of a Degree in Nursing not below Second Class Lower (2/2) Division or holders of both N.R.N and N.R.M from a recognized insƟtuƟon. They must also be registered members of the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

XVI) For the posiƟon of Higher Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) (CONTISS 7), candidates must be holders NaƟonal CerƟficate of Health from a recognized insƟtuƟon of health plus at least 3 years relevant cognate experience.

XVII) For the posiƟon of Medical Laboratory Technologist (CONTISS 07), candidates must be holders of NaƟonal Diploma of the InsƟtute of Medical Laboratory Technology and duly registered with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria for Health Technologist.

XVIII) For the posiƟon of Higher Pharmacy Technician (CONTISS 07), candidates must have completed three years training at the School of Health Technology and duly registered with the InsƟtute of Medical Laboratory Technology for Technician cadre, plus at least 3 years relevant cognate experience.

XIX) For the posiƟon of Procurement Officer, candidates must be holders of a Degree in Procurement and Supply Management not below Second Class Lower (2/2) Division from a recognized University plus at least 3 years cognate experience.

XX) For the posiƟon of Higher ExecuƟve Officer (Accounts) (CONTISS 07), candidates must possess a minimum of HND in AccounƟng not below Second Class Lower (2/2) Division from a recognized insƟtuƟon, Plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XXI) For the posiƟon of Procurement Officer II (CONTISS 07) candidates must possess a good honours degree in MarkeƟng or Economics or Purchasing and Supply or Project Engineering, plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XXII) For the posiƟon of ConfidenƟal Secretary (CONTISS 07) candidates must possess a minimum of HND in Office Management and Technology from a recognized insƟtuƟon, plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XXIII) For the posiƟon of StaƟsƟcian II (CONTISS 07) candidates must possess a good honours degree in StaƟsƟcs from a recognized insƟtuƟon, plus NYSC CerƟficate.

XXIV) For the posiƟon of Program Analyst II (CONITISS 07) candidates must possess a minimum of a good honours degree in Computer Science from a recognized insƟtuƟon plus NYSC CerƟficate.
xxv) For the posiƟon of Program Analyst I (CONITISS 08) candidates must possess a minimum of a good honours degree in Computer Science from a recognized insƟtuƟon with at least three years relevant cognate experience plus NYSC CerƟficate.

XXVI) For the posiƟon of Senior Program Analyst (CONITISS 09) candidates must possess a minimum of a good honours degree in Computer Science from a recognized insƟtuƟon plus, at least, 6 years relevant cognate experience.

XXVII) For the posiƟon of a Sports Coach (CONTISS 08) candidates must possess a minimum of Masters degree in Physical and Health EducaƟon or a B.Sc./B.Ed. in Physical and Health EducaƟon with, at least, 3 years Coaching experience.

XXVIII) For the posiƟon of Librarian I (CONTISS 08), candidates must be holders of a Degree in Library Science not below Second Class Lower (2/2) Division from a recognized University plus at least 3 years cognate experience.

XXIX) For the posiƟon of Librarian II (CONTISS 0), candidates must be holders of a Degree in Library Science not below Second Class Lower (2/2 Division from a recognized University plus NYSC CerƟficate.

XXX) For the posiƟon of Higher Library Officer (CONTISS 07) candidates must possess HND in Library Studies from a recognized insƟtuƟon, plus NYSC discharge CerƟficate.

XXXI) NYSC Discharge CerƟficate or Evidence of ExempƟon/Exclusion is mandatory for all posiƟons.
