7th Edition of The Professor Celestine Onwuliri Memorial Scholarship Form, Eligibility, Requirements, Scholarship Value, Oral and Written Examination Date, Time and Venue for all 1st Year Students of Mbaise Origin for 2018/2019 Academic Session.
The International Liaison of Mbaise Indigenes (ILMI) – Diaspora based instituted these Annual Scholarships in memory of Professor Celestine Onwuliri who died in the Dana plane crash of Sunday, June 3rd 2012. The scholarships shall be named The Professor Celestine Onwuliri Memorial Scholarships.Professor Onwuliri was an illustrious son of Mbaise who contributed immensely to the raising of the profile of Mbaise and its citizens during his lifetime, especially in the academic area.
The scholarships would provide financial support to prospective students of Mbaise origin who plan to attend a two-year College of Technology or a four-year University education in Nigeria.
ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship is limited to only Mbaise sons and daughters who are currently in their year one at any of the Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.METHOD OF APPLICATION
The Scholarship Application form is available online at the associations website www.ilmiworld.org and maybe be collected by Coordinators in Nigeria and or various Churches in Mbaise.The application forms must be signed by a parent or guardian and must be accompanied by the following:
i) a recent passport photo,
ii) two reference letters one of which must come from HOD or Registrar of applicants institution certifying ACADEMIC Status and the other from a Clergy, Traditional Ruler of your community, or Justice of the Peace, or Medical Practitioner, or Senior Public Servant certifying village, a community and a L.G of Origin
iii) Candidates should arrive the venue with N500.00 application fee, pen, pencil and writing papers.
The application forms will be obtained, completed and returned to any of the coordinators as indicated below on or before the examination date.
EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
Date of examination: Saturday, May 18, 2019.Venue: Enyiogugu Secondary School, along Owerri/Umuahia Road, Aboh Mbaise
Registration and Screening Time: 7:30 am – 9:30 am
Written Examination Time: 10am - 11:30am
Oral Examination Time: 12pm {Candidates must present ORIGINAL COPIES of Credentials including SSCE/NECO, Admission Letter from JAMB, Certificate of L.G of Origin, and Clearance Letter.}

- The scholarship is worth Six Hundred Thousand Naira (N600, 000.00).
- The best six successful candidates spread across 3 Local Government in Mbaise will receive One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100, 000.00) only.
