This is to inform all the graduands of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, that the procedure for the collection of their transcripts and certificates has been released.ABU Transcript and Certificate Collection Requirements & Guidelines for Graduands
A. ABU TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FEE, REQUIREMENTS AND COLLECTION GUIDELINES

To collect your ABU Zaria transcript, you are required to take the following steps:
STEP 1
Those applying for transcript to foreign based institutions are required to make cash payment of N40,000.00 at the University Cash Office. Alternatively, e-payment of $100 could be made on a remita platform through: http://www.remita.net. For this, click on Pay A Federal Government Agency where you will be required to complete a form. Start filling the form by typing Ahmadu Bello University as the name of your MDA. Proceed by clicking pay button at the end of the form to make payment and to complete the process.
For Local transcripts requests, applicants are to make a cash payment of N10,000.00 at the University Cash office or make e-payment of the same amount into the remita platform through:http://www.remita.net.
STEP 2
After obtaining the payment receipt, proceed to the exams Office Room 112, on the first floor of the senate building in the Samaru, main campus.
STEP 3
At the exams office, you are expected to pick and complete a transcript request form. The completed form should be submitted to the Dean’s Office of your faculty.
STEP 4
Remember to write down at the back of payment receipt, the appropriate address of where the transcript is to be sent and your GSM number, before submission.
STEP 5
On submission, you may be requested to make additional payment of N500.00 or N1, 000.00 depending on the different faculty charges.
B. ABU CERTIFICATE COLLECTION FEE, REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES
Please Note that, collection of certificates for graduands is in progressFind bellow procedure for collection of Certificate:
- Presentation of Certificate Clearance form
- Presentation of payment receipts
- Presentation of University ID Card
Then proceed to your faculty desk officer at the convocation Square and present (1-3) above for the collection of your Certificate.
STEP 1
Alumni intending to collect their Certificate (s) are required to make cash payment of Six Thousand Naira (N6, 000.00) at the Ahmadu Bello University Micro Finance Bank.
STEP 2
The payment is to be made using 3 tellers for the sum of N2, 000.00 each to the Academic Office, Directorate of Advancement and the National Alumni Association.
After payment, you are to submit copies of the tellers for the Directorate of Advancement and the Alumni Association to the registration officer in the Directorate of University Advancement, Room 26 who shall issue payment receipts.
STEP 3
At the Directorate of Advancement, you are to collect and complete the alumni registration form.
STEP 4
You will then proceed to the cash office, at the ground floor of the Senate Building to present the third teller of N2, 000.00 to enable you to collect a receipt of payment made to the Academic Office as certificate processing fee.
STEP 5
You are to then obtain a screening form from the Exams Office, in Room 112, first floor of the Senate Building, for which you will fill and return with relevant documents such as original copy of statement of results, receipts of cash payments made, and the university identification card.
STEP 6
You will then proceed to the 3rd floor, Room 311, Senate Building, for screening, after which you will return to Room 112 at the Senate Building with proper identification to finally collect the certificate.
