Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH Job Vacancy and Recruitment for the Vacant Position of Chief Security Officer, CSO in May 2019.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant position of Chief Security Officer in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso. 

(a) The Job 

The Chief Security Officer is an officer in the University who oversees the Security Unit. 

Interested persons who meet the requisite qualifications and experiences specified below are invited to apply. 

(b) Qualifications 

Candidates for the job must: 
(i) Be an ex-serviceman not below the rank of captain in the Army or equivalent Armed Forces (Military). 
(ii) Not less than two (2) years of cognate experience in related job at similar setting as LAUTECH. (iii) Demonstration of ability to use modern security gadgets like IP Cameras, access control systems, drone, etc. 

(c) Terms of Appointment 

The appointment will be on contract basis for a maximum period of five (5) years if not more than sixty years of age or renewable every year till the age of sixty five (65), which ever one comes first. 

(d) Remuneration 

The person appointed will be placed on CONTISS 13 and will enjoy all the allowances normally attached to the position of a Chief Security Officer in the University.

Candidates are expected to articulate their vision for the Unit which should not be more than 500 words and submit same along with their application.
