Entry Qualifications.
DIP — DIPLOMA, ND — NATIONAL DIPLOMA, HND — HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA
Entry Qualifications
- All applicants should possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/NECO/GCE O'L subjects, which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
- For Programme 1
Candidates are expected to possess at least one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc)
- Registered Midwife (RM)
- Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate
- Any Post Basic Nursing Certificate Candidates with Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) would start at HND II, while those with RN/RM will start at HND I.
- For HND in Programmes 2 and 3
Health Science is acceptable in place of Biology. Candidates are expected to have obtained ND in the respective fields from any reputable institution.
- For Programme 9, admission is through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Method of Application
Admission forms are obtainable at the office of the Principal, Institute of Health Technology, UBTH Benin City, at a fee of Ten thousand maira (N10.000.00) only. Payments for purchase of application forms should be made through the UBTH TSA ACCOUNT using the REMITA Platform with the account name: Training Schools, in any bank in Nigeria.Submission of Application Forms
Completed application forms should be submitted at the Office of the Principal, Institute of Health Technology, UBTH, on or before Friday 19th August, 2022.Entrance Examination Schedule
Entrance examination to the various programmes will hold on Saturday, 28th August, 2021 at the Institute of Health technology complex. UBTH, Benin City.- Date: Saturday 20th August, 2022
