YSSB International Scholarship for Yobe State Indigenes 2019 | UG & PG

Yobe State Scholarship Board, (YSSB) Damaturu International Scholarship Application Form, Courses, Eligibility, Requirements, Application Procedures, Computer Based Test (CBT) Date, Time & Veneue for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Indigene Students of Yobe State 2019.

This is to inform the indigene of Yobe State that the State Government under its policy of State Emergency on Education, wishes to sponsor qualified students to undergo various programmes into Universities in China, Turkey, and Tajikistan.

Latest Update:
This is to inform you that His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon Mai Mala Buni has instructed the Yobe State Foreign Scholarship Committee to give special consideration to people with special needs in the screening and selection process.

Having received the wish of HE. The Committee resolved to allocate 17 and three senatorial seats making 20 slots of balanced representation across the state.

Interested candidates are to liaise with Comr Abba Isa for proper coordination pls.

ELIGIBILITY

Students with the following qualifications should apply:

1. Postgraduate Students (MSc, MA, PhD, in the Following Fields)

REQUIREMENTS

Intending applicants for undergraduate study should possess a minimum of five (5) credits, including MATHEMATICS and ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Intrested candidates should obtain application forms from the Yobe State Scholarship Board Headquarters, State Secretariat, Damaturu as from Friday 20th June, 2019 at the Cost of One Thousand Naira (N1,000) Only for Undergraduate and Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only for Postgraduate Students.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION SCHEDULE

Undergraduate 

The examination is scheduled according to the three senatorial zones of the state i.e.,
1- Zone A Friday 2nd August 2019
2- Zone B Saturday 3rd August 2019
3- Zone C Sunday 4th August 2019

Candidates are to come in person and collect their clearance forms and designated examination centres at Yobe State Scholarships Board office between Monday 29th July to Thursday 1st August 2019.

Postgraduate

This is to inform all Postgraduate applicants for the Yobe State International Scholarship scheme, that the screening exercise for M.sc and Ph.D will start as follows:-

i. Zone A on Friday 12th July, 2019. Zone A are Damaturu, Tarmuwa, Bursari, Yunusari, Gujba, Gulani, Geidam.

ii. Zone B on Saturday 13th July, 2019. Zone B are Potiskum, Fune, Fika, Nangere.

iii. Zone C on Sunday 14th July, 2019. Zone C are Gashau, Nguru, Jakusko, Karasuwa, Machina, Yusufari.

VENUE: Conference Hall IBB Secretariat Damaturu, Yobe State.

TIME: 9:00 AM Daily NB

Applicants should collect their clearance form from the scholarship board before proceeding to the screening centre. Failure to do so, applicant will not be interviewed.
