Lagos State University (LASU) Online Course Evaluation of Teaching Portal Now Opens for Students to Anonymously Assess the Teaching Experience, Rate their Lecturers and Give Feed-Backs to the University Authority.
The Lagos State University Authority has introduced a new platform, the first of its kind in Nigeria, that will allow students anonymously assess the teaching experience, rate their lecturers and give feedbacks to the University Authority.The online Course Evaluation portal is open to all students of Lagos State University to assess the way courses of their choice are taught with the aim of improving the teaching and learning experience.
The portal is opened between Thursday, 1st August and Wednesday, 7th August, 2019.
To take advantage of the platform, students are to go through the following simple steps:
LASU Online Course Evaluation Portal Guidelines for all Students
- Visit the University website: www.lasu.edu.ng
- Go to students services
- On the drop-down, go to the last item, 'Teaching Evaluation'
- Then follow the instructions and fill in your preferred answers to rate your lecturers and their quality of teaching.
- At the end of the feedback session, students are required to to answer the question: "In what area do you want improvement?"
- The system is designed in such a way that false or inaccurate feedbacks are detected to prevent abuse my the students.

2. You are expected to honestly give your opinion on the course and the lecturer(s) who taught the course without prejudice or bias. The Confidentiality of the evaluation is guaranteed.
For PART III to PART V, Select the choice that best describes the effectiveness of your lecturer.
