UONGOZI Institute's Has Announced and Published the List of Winners of the Leadership Essay Competition 2019. See Full List of Names and Countries.
UONGOZI Institute is pleased to announce the finalists of the Leadership Essay Competition 2019. This year, over 2,000 essays from accross Africa were received.After rigorously evaluating each of the essays received, only four essays scored sufficient points to be included as finalists.
The four winners are (in no particular order):
- N’Gandjo Wasswa Cisse – Ivory Coast
- Dimowo Cosmas – Nigeria
- Kelvin Mugisha – Tanzania
- Panashe Gombiro – Zimbabwe
UONGOZI Institute would like to thank each one of the 2,000+ young African citizens who participated in this year’s competition under the theme:
“If you were an African leader, how would you promote sustainable use of the renewable natural resources for fostering socio-economic transformation in Africa?”
Note: The essays were fairly evaluated by our panel of judges based on a set of criteria, including originality, creativity, use of language, appropriateness to contest theme and organizational structure.
