Buni Foreign Scholarship Scheme (BFSS) /  Yobe State Scholarship Board (YSSB) International Scholarship List of Shortlisted Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Candidates for Verification of Academic Records 2019.

This is to inform all Postgraduate Students of Yobe State who applied for the Buni Foreign Scholarship Scheme (BFSS)/ Yobe State Scholarship Board, (YSSB) Damaturu International Scholarship that the list of shortlisted candidates for verification of academic records has been released for 2019.



Following a painstaking selection process that includes Computer Based Test, Local Government/ Ward as well as gender representation, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni has approved the following names as submitted by the selection committee of the #UNDERGRADUATE component of the BUNI FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (BFSS).

The BFSS is a scheme that covers visa, tuition, accommodation, feeding, books, travels and pocket stipend for all awardees.

Awardees from all the 17 LGAs of the State whose names appear in this list are expected to report to the Yobe State Scholarship Board from 10:00 am Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th January 2020 with the originals of their school certificates for authentication and further guide/information on visa, travel and other arrangements.

NOTE:

• The shortlisted names/ list that is released below requesting for the submission of academic transcripts of the listed candidates is not the list of the qualified candidates for the scholarship, but another process of verification as we couldn't find applicants transcripts on the scholarship portal.
• You may observe that the list is beyond the 200 candidates to be sponsored by the state.
• Applicants from State owned tertiary Institutions should also forward their transcripts to the said email even if their names didn't appear in the list.
• Selection process for PG candidates is still ongoing, we are therefore calling on all applicants to be confident of the turnout of the results.

The under listed candidates are requested to submit copies of their academic transcripts to yobescholarshipcommittee@gmail.com on or before Monday 26th August, 2019.

Applicants from State owned tertiary Institutions should indicate the name of their institutions and attached copies of their academic transcripts to the yobescholarshipcommittee@gmail.com on or before Monday 26th August, 2019.
