NECO Directs Schools to Re-Open Portal for Upload of O'Level Result

National Examination Council of Nigeria (NECO) Pleads with Institutions (Schools) to Re-Open Portal for Upload of O'Level Results for Candidates who are yet to do so for 2019/2020 Admission Exercise.

Following the mandate of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that all candidates who wish to secure admission into any of the Nigerian Institutions must upload their O'level result to their portal and the institution of choice portal, the National Examination Council (NECO) has written to all institutions who has closed their portal for upload of result to re-open them to enable candidates whose results where just released to do so immediately.

This information was revealed by the board in a tweet on their official twitter handle which read thus:

Important Notice: The council is aware that some schools closed their portal before the release of our June/July 2019 result. We have spoken with some of this schools and they are willing to reopen their portal for students that are yet to fill in their O level results.
According to the Board so far University of Nigeria (UNN) and Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (UNIZIK) has complied with the directive and has re-opened their portal for upload of O'level result.

It will be recalled that the National Examination Council (NECO) released their 2019 SSCE Internal Candidates result on Tuesday 27th August, 2019.

It is hoped that other schools / institutions will comply with the above directive, and if they do all candidates are required to upload their results as a matter of urgency on their respective institution of choice portal and also on the JAMB CAPS portal.
