The management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, LAUTECH, wishes to inform the general public that LAUTECH has been granted approval by the relevant authorities to award Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Technology Degrees in the following programmes commencing from the 2019/2020 academic session in the various faculties indicated hereunder

Latest Update: Notice is hereby given to all candidates who are willing to change to LAUTECH as their Institution of first choice in the 2019/2020 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that a 3rd Batch Post-UTME Computer Based Test (CBT) Screening Exercise will be conducted on Thursday, November 14, and Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. into the following NEW programmes:

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission to the programmes for 2019/2020 session.

ELIGIBILITY

  • For candidate to be eligible for the exercise, he or she must have scored 160 marks and above in the
    2019/2020 UTME.     

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates seeking admission to any of the programmes must possess minimum of credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at O’level, including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in the GCE, SSCE, (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).

The combinations shown in the table below meet the entry requirements for admission to the Degree Programmes:

For candidate to be eligible for the exercise, he or she must have scored 160 marks and above in the 2019/2020 UTME.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME

The duration of the programmes is a minimum of eight (8) semesters or four (4) sessions for any of the programmes in the Faculties of Management Sciences, and Computer Science and Informatics while it is ten (10) semesters or five (5) sessions for all the programmes in the Faculty of Food and Consumer Sciences.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application form will be available online for completion and submission from Wednesday, October 23 to Wednesday, November 13, 2019 

Interested candidates are advised to effect change of institution to LAUTECH via the JAMB Change of Institution form.

Thereafter, follow the application guidelines outlined on LAUTECH Post-UTME Screening Form 2019/2020 to apply online.
