Lagos State University (LASU) Inter-University and Intra-University Transfer Admission Form Application Guidelines for 2022/2023 Academic Session.

This is to inform interested and qualified candidates who wishes to defer or transfer their admission into any of the various degree courses offered by the Lagos State University (LASU) that they can now do as the portal for payment has been enabled for 2022/2023 academic session.


Likewise students of the Lagos State University (LASU) who wishes to change to other department or courses in the University are advised to make payment, fill the LASU intra-university form and submit to the institution.

Students of the Lagos State University seeking to transfer to other department should also follow the same guidelines below:

The Directorate of ICT has moved on to activate the processes of the Intra-University Transfer online. The new portal will enable students to apply, and enable departments to consider the applications for further submission to the Chairman of Intra-University committee, who will inturn present same for Senate Approval.

The portal is now open and accepting requests for intra university transfer as may be desired by students. All related services have been activated.

Latest Update: The Directorate of Information and Communication Technology has activated the processes of the Intra-University Transfer online. The new portal will enable students to apply and departments to consider the applications for further submission to the Chairman of Intra-University Committee, who will in turn present same for Senate approval.
The portal is now open and accepting requests for Intra University Transfer as may be desired by students. All related services have been activated. All students that have applied for intra University Transfer are required to visit the University Counselling Unit for Career Briefing and Interaction.

Please note that only those that have met with the counsellor will have their online applications forwarded to the next stage on the Intra-University portal.

LASU Inter / Intra University Transfer Admission Form Guidelines 2022/2023

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants who want to apply for transfer, must ad-here to the following condition:
  • Candidates must have successfully completed 200 Level as at the time of applying for inter university transfer.
  • Candidates must have a strong cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least an upper 2.1 to be considered for admission.
  • He/She must be willing to retain the same Level after a successful transfer.
  • Applicants must exhibit a clean moral and academic records in current school.
 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested candidates are to proceed online to pay the sum Five Thousand Naira (N5,000:00) for Inter-Faculty Transfer and Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000:00) for Intra University Transfer form.

Candidates must have read the guidelines to ensure their eligibility for transfer to LASU before filling and submission of the form.
Step 1. Candidates must read the guideline to ensure he/she qualifies for transfer before obtaining the form.
Step 2. If qualified, the candidate should:
a. Log on to the university website: www.lasu.edu.ng,
b. Click the ‘LASU Payment Portal’,
d. Select Intra-University Transfer from the drop-down list
Follow the step-by-step instructions to pay.
  • Visit https://lasu.edu.ng/interuniversitytransfer to login with your matric number.
  • Fill in the required details and upload your WAEC / NECO / NABTEB result, also upload your signature too.
  • Submit your application.
  • Continually check your email for update on your application.

LASU Intra-University Transfer Application Timetable 2022/2023

The Senate Committee on Intra-University transfer has approved the Time-Table for students’ applications for Intra-University Transfer for 2022/2023 Academic Session in accordance with the subsisting approval of Senate on the policy, procedure and guidelines for Intra-University Transfer as contained in the table below:

Note, from the approved policy, procedure & guidelines for Intra-University transfer:

Any student requesting for Intra-University Transfer must apply during the stipulated time for application;

Application for such request would be online;

All applications for Intra-University Transfer should be made within one [1] week after Senate must have approved results for the previous session. Therefore, all students requesting for Intra-University Transfer must apply at the same time across College, Faculties, and Schools;
 
All the processes for Intra-University Transfer must be concluded at least, by the first week of resumption of New Academic Session.
