This is to inform the general public and all the Local Government and Public Administrators in Nigeria that the sales of admission form Into Professional Diploma & Graduate Conversion Programmes of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (CILGPAN) is now on sale for 2020 [May/Nov. Diet].

Sales of forms commences on 2nd December, 2019 for May / Nov. Diet

The Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (CILGPAN) was founded in 1996 on the 24th Day of January, 2018 the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, signed the, The Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (CILGPAN) Act No 1. of 2017. The Act is published at Government Notice No 7, No 19, Vol. 105 of the Official Gazette of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, issued on the 29th of January, 2018. The Institute exclusively regulates the training and practice of Local Government and Public Administrators in Nigeria. The Institute as at 30th September, 2017, has Eight Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty One (8,461), and Seven Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Five (7,795) Students as registered Students.

The Institute is the only recognized professional body by law specializing exclusively in Local Government and Public Administration. It was established to play a vital role in the development and training of high qualified manpower  for Local Government and Public sector.

Qualification

1. Candidate for the Professional Qualifying Examination Programme must possess at least five credits in not more than two sittings in SSCE/GCE 0' Level or NECO including English and Mathematics N/B: Candidates awaiting results may also apply.
2. Diploma, O.N.D, N.C.E Obtained from accredited Institution in Nigeria
3. Undergraduates of Universities and Polytechnics recognized by the Institute
4. B.A, B.Sc, H.N.D, M. Sc, MPA, PhD Obtained from accredited Institutions in Nigeria and Abroad 5. Holders of Professional Qualification recognized by the Institute.
6. Local Government employees and Public Servants with over 10 years working experience may be considered

• 10,500  (Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira, Only) 

Graduate Conversion Programme

Application forms for Graduate Conversion Programme is obtainable upon payment of N10,500 for holders of 4 and 6 above.
