LASG Signs MoU for Construction of 8,000 Bed Space Hostel in LASU

Lagos State Government (LASG) Signs a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) to build over Eight Thousand (8,000) Bed Hostel Spaces Project in the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo.

The Lagos State Government has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with contractors to build over eight thousand bed hostel spaces project in the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo,

Speaking at the event Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu thanked his Special Adviser on Education, Tokunbo Wahab, the Vice Chancellor, Olanrewaju Fagbohun for their passionate drive and the contractors saying the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding of the project was the beginning of a long lasting and enduring relationship.

He also thanked the investors for believing in Lagos saying the state government was pushing the narrative of how youths could be competitive through the use of technology and innovation.

Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that the investment was strategic as it would make positive impact in the lives of students as well as youths in the state adding that it would also be a model and test case which other states
would copy.

The Governor told the contractors that he would personally monitor the project charging them that their words should be their bound.

Speaking earlier, Special Adviser to the Governor on education, thanked the present administration for the initiative which would make life more easier for Students saying work on the project would be completed within eighteen months.

Also, the Vice Chancellor of LASU, said posterity would judge the Governor right as the investment was a significant stride and that contractors were expected to move to site with in the next one month or two.
