“No university can survive without good, intelligent and hardworking students who can teach and mentor themselves with a little guidance of lecturers”.
He also said that such strategy was needed so as not to frustrate humongous investments required by private university.
The convocation lecturer also advised universities in the country establish functional quality assurance department in order to monitor activities of university staff toward production of quality and creative graduates.
He added that university must engage in good community relations that inculcate sponsorship and general community development which will in turn become a catalyst for the growth of the university.
“Follow BMAS and make a good friendship with NUC in your scheme of works position your University as desired”. Okojie advised.
