Latest Update: BUK 2020/2021 Hostel Allocation Opened: This is to inform ALL STUDENTS who wish to apply for hostel that the allocation engine will be opened on Thursday, 1st July 2021 by 10.00 am.

Latest Update: Interested students should therefore meet Hall Administrators for collection
NOTE:
1. Student must present their Identity cards for the collection of the form
2. If you know that you don't need accommodation, please do not collect the form. If anybody is found selling or trading of bed space in whatever way, he/she will face appropriate sanctions and disciplinary action.
3. For fresh Level 1 and Direct Entry Level 2 students, their forms will be distributed at a later date.
Also, students that the University has planned to carry out some repair work in the Students Hostel during the session break.
Students are therefore instructed to leave the hostel immediately after the exams or at most one week after the last examination.
Students are also required to go along with all their belongings while leaving the school. Any property seen left behind will be considered as unwanted and will be handled as such.
BUK Hostel Allocation Portal Fees 2020/2021 [Undergraduate & Postgraduate]
- BUK Hostel Accommodation Fee for International Postgraduate Students - N80,000.
- BUK Hostel Accommodation Fee for Postgraduate Nigerian Students with Mattress and Bed - N25,150.
BUK Hostel Accommodation Fee for Undergraduates Nigerian Students - N20,090 - BUK Hostel Accommodation Fee for Students Collecting only Bed Space without a Mattress - N12,090
BUK Hostel Allocation Portal Application Guidelines 2020/2021
Please note that the allocation of bed spaces in both male and Female Hostel will be done on first come first served basis.
- To apply visit http://mybuk.buk.edu.ng/ug/ for Undergraduates and http://mybuk.buk.edu.ng/sps/ for Postgraduate students.
- Click on login
- Enter your username and password
- Click on ‘Hostel’
- Select the campus i.e. New Site or Old Site
- Select the hostel’s name e.g Saadu Zungur
- Select the floor e.g. First, Second, Third or Fourth Floor
- Select the bed space
- Click on ‘Submit’
NB: All students interested reserving bed space should note that after the reservation they are to validate the link sent to their registered phone number or the space will be REVOKED.
Similarly, Failure to make payment after validating within 120 hours (5 days) will result in REVOKING the space.
Deadline
Application for Hostel allocation will close on a date to be announced later.Please be guided accordingly.
