UDUSOK Registration Deadline 2020/2021 [Extended]

Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUSOK) Extends Second (2nd) Semester Course Registration Deadline by Additional Five (5) Days for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

The University Management at its meeting on Monday 10th February, 2020 deliberated and approved the extension for the first semester deadline of registration and school fees payment by five (5) days for 2020/2021 academic session.

The university management haven noted the public holidays of Christmas and new year and also of the challenges many students are facing with payment issues most especially Kebbi state students, has graciously extended the deadline for registration from 3rd January 2021 to Sunday 9th January 2022.

Students are thus advised to take advantage of this extension to address all their registration issues as no further extension will be provided.

Latest Update: The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University. Sokoto has on Friday, 7th January, 2022 reconsidered its stand on the 2020/2021 registration exercise.

This development was reached in a meeting held on Friday, 7th January. According to a circular released by the management, the idea was born out of the fact that to allow the students, who are yet to register for the 2020/2021 academic session, sit for the forthcoming examination. And also, following a plea by the Students' Union (CTC).

The affected students, according to the circular, are to pay a minimum of 50% of their outstanding payments; and write an undertaking to the Office of Dean Students Affairs, stating to complete the balance on or before the 2nd week of the second semester, 2020/2021 academic session.

However, the management said that the 9th of January, which was earlier scheduled for closure of the registration portal, still stands.

The notice reads as follows." The University Management had, at its meeting of Friday, 7th January 2022 reviewed position of 2020/2021 academic session registration exercise.

The Management, having taken cognizance of the fact that some students were yet to register and print their examination cards (to enable them to sit for the forthcoming 1-semester examination), as well as the plea by the Students Union resolved as follows:

*The decision for the closure of the portal remains i.e. 9th January, 2022:

"Graciously approved that students yet to make payment should pay a minimum of 50%% of their outstanding payments (previous sessions, where applicable, inclusive) and write an undertaking (addressed to the Dean, Student Affairs Division) for payment of the outstanding balance on or before the 2nd week of the second semester of 2020/2021 Session. Affected students should please note that three (3) copies of the letter of undertaking should be submitted to the Dean Student Affairs Office for further processing:

*Upon payment of the 50% (minimum), and writing the undertaking letter, the affected students will be issued with a temporary examination (to be issued manually) by the Chairman, Examination Monitoring Committee (EMC) to enable them to sit for the 1" semester examination.

*The affected students will now be required to fill the course registration form (which will be made available in the University website, www.udusok.edu.ng) for the students to download, fill and get them approved by their respective departments, and submit same together advance payment of the 50% (minimum) to the Management Information System (MIS) Unit, for further processing."

It added that "The affected students should access payment portal of the University at http:/payments.udusok.edu.ng.

Affected students are however encouraged to visit the ICT Center of the University for guidance.

*The affected students are strongly advised to take advantage of the gracious consideration by the University to enable them complete their registration.
