University of Benin (UNIBEN) Warning Notice to all Students Involved in Sales and Re-Selling of Hostel / Bed Spaces (Racketeering of Hostel Spaces).
It has come to the attention of the Management of the University of Benin that hostel spaces are being sold by various categories of people.The action, viewed by Management as racketeering, has been strongly condemned.
It must be emphasized that the sale of hostel spaces remains outlawed while perpetrators, (whether as sellers, buyers or middle-men) will face sanctions.
Furthermore, students who have been allotted hostel spaces, officially, but are no longer interested, should inform the Student Affairs Division of the University for retrieval.
