The Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has Appointed Mr. Daniel Anjola Wilson as the New Bursar for the University.
The newly appointed bursar, Mr. Wilson, is currently the deputy bursar in charge of final accounts in the bursary department of the University.Wilson was born on October 28, 1971, at Enugu-Ezike, Enugu state of Nigeria.
He went to the Army Children School and Army Secondary School, all in Kaduna, for his primary and secondary education.
He, thereafter, proceeded to the famous Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, in Nasarawa State, where he graduated with Distinction in Accountancy (HND).
In 2011, Mr. Wilson bagged a postgraduate diploma in accounting and finance and, later, obtained a B.Sc in Economics, MBA (Finance) and M.Sc in Economics, all from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State.
In March, 2005, Mr. Wilson was employed as Accountant II by the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and from there he rose to the position of a senior accountant.
In 2012 Wilson transferred his service to the Federal University of Lafia as principal accountant.
He was promoted to the position of deputy bursar in October 2019, the position he held until he became the bursar of Federal University of Lafia.
Mr. Wilson is a member of different professional bodies including Chartered Institution of Taxation and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Mr. Wilson is married and blessed with five (5) children
