LASU's Student Selected for Harvard Crossroad Emerging Leaders Programme 2020

LASU's 400 Level Student of Medicine and Surgery, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM) Tolani Odukoya Gets Selected as Participant for the 2020 Harvard Crossroad Emerging Leaders Programme, Earns Vice Chancellor's Praise.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, SAN, NPOM, has, on behalf of the entire Lagos State University, congratulated Tolani Odukoya, a 400 level student of Medicine and Surgery, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), on his recent selection as one of the participants for the Harvard Crossroad Emerging Leaders Programme 2020.

Tolani is one of few young leaders across the world selected to take part in the Emerging Leaders programme scheduled to hold in Dubai between 30th March and 6th April, 2020.

The event is a fully funded programme for financially challenged college students from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia. The event will also serve as an opportunity to develop the capabilities of tomorrow’s leaders as well as foster collaboration across the region. Participants will be taught by 4 leading Harvard Business School Professors.

The Vice Chancellor praised Odukoya for displaying a high level of self-belief by putting himself up for the programme, urging him to be a proud ambassador of the University at the event in Dubai.

"Odukoya's achievement is an evidence of what is possible for those who believe in themselves. There will always be opportunities; never be afraid to take them", he said.
